Taking It Down is out on an unscheduled Monday in order to talk a bit about the college football national championship game, which is how we begin this week (0:55). After football, it’s all about the top shows from 2021 (10:19), our favorite movies from last year (18:56), and what we consider the best in music from 2021 (21:14).
After a short break, we discuss the second episode The Book of Boba Fett, which was an improvement from the first (27:49). We then talk about how the finale of Landscapers on HBO was a big disappointment (35:22). Lastly, we cover the movies, music, and television we look forward to this year (46:13).
