Welcome to Week Two of college football! After the whirlwind that was Week One, I am happy to be back to make more picks. As bad as I thought I did last week when watching the games, I went 9-6 on my 15 picks. The teams that shocked me the most were Vandy and Florida. Vandy shocked me because of how good they played and Florida shocked me by how embarrassingly poorly they performed.
I know I said that everyone had permission to make fun of me and the only reason you can is because I picked Florida State to win and they obviously did quite the opposite.
I am hoping for better outcomes this week and cannot wait to watch the chaos ensue once again.
So without further ado, here are my picks for Week Two:
Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati - I do not know much about either team so I am following the popular pick and going with Cincinnati.
3 Texas vs. 10 Michigan - You will never catch me going for Michigan under any circumstance. Hook ‘em Horns.
Arkansas vs. 16 Oklahoma State - I feel like I did not get to see a true representation of Arkansas football because they shut out a lesser team last week, so I am going with Oklahoma State.
17 Kansas State vs Tulane - I have seen Tulane play in person and was not impressed. I do not think they will be able to handle Kansas State this week.
South Carolina vs. Kentucky - Although Kentucky is the more popular vote, they have several injuries. Also, I have a soft spot for South Carolina. I am not super confident in this pick, but I have to have an upset in here somewhere.
Auburn vs. California - As much as it pains me to say this, War Eagle.
Iowa vs. Iowa St. - This is out of complete favoritism. Iowa all the way.
Baylor vs. 11 Utah - I just think Utah is the better team.
Virginia vs. Wake Forest - Although Wake Forest is favored, I am taking Virginia in a close upset.
Kansas vs. Illinois - Again, I do not know much about either team. Kansas it is.
Tennessee vs. NC State - Unfortunately, I am going with Tennessee.
Colorado vs. Nebraska - I cannot stand Colorado, so Nebraska all the way.
Boise St. vs. Oregon - While I do not think it will be by much, I think Oregon will take this one.
Texas Tech vs. Washington State - I am actually taking Washington State for this one. Don’t ask me why because I have no idea.
Mississippi State vs. Arizona State - I am going with the SEC on this one.
