[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_00]: you know I just didn't know what to expect with that first game and it looked for a good the first

[00:00:51] [SPEAKER_00]: half that Alabama and Kalin de Bourne his first game against Kirby and Georgia was gonna spank them I mean

[00:00:59] [SPEAKER_00]: Alabama played about as perfect of a half of football as you could play the one Jalen

[00:01:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Miller interception was a fluke and the defense got a safety right back so

[00:01:07] [SPEAKER_00]: yeah and then well you know before that let's just talk about that first half real quick

[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_00]: you know I guess what does it say tell you about how Kalin de Bourne his staff prepared the team

[00:01:24] [SPEAKER_00]: for this game and how hyped the players was you know what was your feeling at halftime

[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean obviously they came in ready to go you know you just felt a certain confidence with

[00:01:35] [SPEAKER_01]: team just by their faces and they're warming up when they came out you just knew that they were

[00:01:40] [SPEAKER_01]: ready to go um and they got right after it so I mean you know they had two weeks to prepare so I mean

[00:01:48] [SPEAKER_01]: the good thing is we see Kalin de Bourne in a way similar to Nick in that coming off a bi-week

[00:01:54] [SPEAKER_01]: this is not an Alabama team you want to face um so that's a good thing to see

[00:02:01] [SPEAKER_01]: um you know that our friends is rolling you know they can we're getting everybody involved so obviously

[00:02:06] [SPEAKER_01]: they you know listened to us obviously and thought hey we got a spread follow a little bit

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_01]: but um you know that was good to see you know it was um Jalen was trying to get other involved

[00:02:18] [SPEAKER_01]: you know it's good to see the tight end CJ uh get involved um no um Emmanuel Henderson had a big

[00:02:28] [SPEAKER_01]: big uh big catch there they got Bernard involved and of course the freshman phenom my goodness

[00:02:36] [SPEAKER_01]: but uh we'll get to him don't worry but I mean you know that we were running the bar wells uh you

[00:02:44] [SPEAKER_01]: know and the way Jalen played in that first half I mean the game just looked so easy to him

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_01]: I mean he was just hitting everything you know he was running but it seemed like he was in

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_01]: slow motion but he was you know going as but it it was just the fourth downplay when he took the

[00:03:03] [SPEAKER_00]: read option bounced it outside and got around the corner and then took it to the house was amazing

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_00]: just shows you how fast he is because getting getting to the corner getting the first down

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_00]: is great enough you know and that's you know it's uh what was it was like a fourth and two

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_00]: or whatever but you know you gotta run 25 yards to uh to get that and then but so you

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_00]: he gets the corner and you're like okay one of those guys has the angle though get him and no

[00:03:28] [SPEAKER_01]: he just outruns them and we're not and it's not just against anybody no yeah it's against Georgia yeah

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_01]: these are NFL players that he's you know these are this is supposedly one of the best defenses

[00:03:40] [SPEAKER_01]: we'll see all year according to everything we hear maybe the best yeah um sorry got distracted about

[00:03:50] [SPEAKER_00]: what did the hell of more Jackson just did on the science play um but uh yeah you said it just

[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_00]: it looks so easy for Alabama on both sides of the ball uh defense we need to mention them they

[00:04:08] [SPEAKER_00]: influence he was me and he was i mean because some of those interceptions he was throwing was it

[00:04:13] [SPEAKER_00]: you know there was a couple you know it was good plays by the defense but he threw one or two

[00:04:17] [SPEAKER_00]: just right at bad my guys uh all credit to Cain Womack and the defensive staff because they really

[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_00]: just they dialed it up yeah they they switched up tendencies Kirby made a note of that in his

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_00]: halftime interview that um offense at least yeah he's like yeah they they were showing things

[00:04:35] [SPEAKER_00]: they hadn't seen so yeah absolutely great job by Katelyn DuVernay's staff and the players who

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_00]: just come out on fire in a big game like that against a big team like that and just whooping

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_01]: their ass for 30 minutes yeah the only thing I didn't like at the end of the first half and that

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_01]: kind of I think opened up George a little bit in that second half when the last two or three

[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_01]: drives you got deep in and we didn't score a touchdown yeah I feel like if we had scored

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_01]: one more touchdown that first time that'd been a knockout blow yeah I was yeah I was texting my dad

[00:05:10] [SPEAKER_00]: about that mm-hmm I was texting my dad about that how we needed yeah one more score to kind of

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_00]: running in that locker room with their heads hanging down you know

[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_00]: you know looking down and and they didn't quite get that now part of that you know we could we can

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_00]: put on the rest they missed a pretty well my god obvious uh past interference call yeah that they

[00:05:32] [SPEAKER_00]: then called a similar call later in the game which annoyed me on us but no uh yeah that was a pretty

[00:05:38] [SPEAKER_00]: big miss that could have led to some more points at the time but regardless still a 20

[00:05:44] [SPEAKER_00]: what was it a half-ton 23 party day yeah 30 yeah yeah uh and then the second half happened

[00:05:52] [SPEAKER_00]: and George has just started pecking away pecking away and you know just kept good they were going

[00:05:58] [SPEAKER_00]: for four times it was like you're playing the kid on Madden they were just going for a four

[00:06:01] [SPEAKER_00]: down every time and getting it uh I was really knowing some penalties really frustrated

[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_00]: yeah and you know it's not like the defense stopped making plays they were getting you know good

[00:06:12] [SPEAKER_00]: plays on first and second down they you know they had a Carson Beck fumble that you know the

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_00]: offense couldn't convert into anything or maybe they got a field goal out of that I think uh

[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_00]: but you know the Georgia just started you know they calmed down they found their rhythm Carson

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Beck settled down um and then the Alabama offense just went stale and you know I was talking to people

[00:06:38] [SPEAKER_00]: and I think a little bit you know what we we talked about a couple weeks ago the worry for the Alabama

[00:06:43] [SPEAKER_00]: offense is that the inability to sustain drives and that showed up a little bit Georgia made

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_00]: the adjustments in Alabama couldn't you know maybe they got a little conservative but they

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_00]: couldn't really keep their foot on the Georgia's throat and uh you know the Alabama offense

[00:06:59] [SPEAKER_00]: sputtered out and you know let Georgia get back in it because the defense was just gassed uh

[00:07:07] [SPEAKER_00]: and then what you know it's concerning you want to obviously you want the offense to keep scoring

[00:07:15] [SPEAKER_00]: you want the defense to keep making plays but a team of Georgia's caliber they're gonna at least

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_00]: make a little run they're gonna they're gonna make adjustments and they're gonna swing back right

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_00]: so you expected them at least get it you know a little bit closer but uh you know where

[00:07:29] [SPEAKER_00]: the worry comes in is that you let them climb all the way back

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_00]: and then like the last three minutes of the game happened

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_01]: when they took the lead out on what the hell did we just see

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_01]: yeah I was like is this Ironball 2010 all over again play with

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_00]: yeah it was almost you know similar to the blackout game where we actually let them come back this time

[00:07:58] [SPEAKER_01]: right because they re-slotted them and then they had 80 they no one talks about that but

[00:08:03] [SPEAKER_01]: he had 2008 game they did come nearly back I mean it was what I think Alabama

[00:08:11] [SPEAKER_00]: was up 31 nothing to have time in that game and then the final score was like 41 to 30 so

[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Georgia you know really real big back into that one but you know they were able to get that one more

[00:08:24] [SPEAKER_00]: score they needed and offense wasn't able to do it this time and so like you said Georgia I'm a big play

[00:08:31] [SPEAKER_00]: just a big heartbreaking play big deep pass broke a tackle got in the end zone with a couple minutes

[00:08:44] [SPEAKER_00]: um uh yeah speaking of teams that like to blow the leaves we'll see how the Ravens handle this

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_01]: what are we doing like why aren't we running the ball why aren't we trying to slow things down

[00:09:39] [SPEAKER_01]: we're just going fast fast fast and I'm like chill out we got to lead like we need to be chilling

[00:09:45] [SPEAKER_00]: what is going on why are we they're angry but yeah we were snapping a ball with over 20 seconds left

[00:09:51] [SPEAKER_00]: in the play I didn't even mind the passing so much you know because you know Georgia kind of shut

[00:09:56] [SPEAKER_00]: down the run but we were snapping the ball with over 20 minutes left on the playcock each time

[00:10:02] [SPEAKER_00]: we kept trying I think Jaylin started playing a little bit of hero ball there he could have

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_00]: winning catch was so good that we forgot about his amazing catch from the first half where he juggled

[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_00]: yards you know yeah simply amazing when you know his body control in that last catch to jump

[00:12:17] [SPEAKER_00]: you know leap in the air like kind of that back shoulder throw almost left in the air made the catch

[00:12:23] [SPEAKER_00]: you know landed like a feather yeah that slow motion spin move where you almost like what he

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_00]: floated is like a float over a little hesitation lets them run into each other and then you have

[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_00]: just turns on the jets absolutely yeah Alabama immediate that was the first play after the

[00:12:42] [SPEAKER_00]: touchdown so your first play from scrimmage right Alabama immediately takes the lead right back

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_00]: you know worth noting too that Alabama um uh stopped the two-point conversion after Georgia scored

[00:12:55] [SPEAKER_00]: the go-ahead touchdown you know that might have changed some play calling you know but uh absolutely

[00:13:01] [SPEAKER_00]: just unbelievable play Ryan Williams was like six receptions a buck what seventy something

[00:13:06] [SPEAKER_00]: a touchdown just ridiculous yeah and then uh you know Georgia comes right back though uh they

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_00]: you know go down the field again what in the world yeah they they turned it on like I said defense

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_00]: was gassed and then another true freshman uh uh you know makes a play yep uh interception in the end

[00:13:28] [SPEAKER_00]: zone seals it for him uh yeah he was able to take a knee after that and just absolutely amazing game

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_00]: had their day each unit you know uh shine for a little bit um that's sure definitely a possibility

[00:13:47] [SPEAKER_00]: these two teams obviously meet either in Atlanta or somewhere in a playoffs along the line very very

[01:44:11] [SPEAKER_00]: miss kentucky um and then did not get the eagles today so blaine went one and three this weekend

[01:44:18] [SPEAKER_00]: we needed that to happen because blaine's kicking our ass right now as i said blaine was starting

[01:44:21] [SPEAKER_00]: to get a little bit yeah uh see malarie came into the week at seven and eight she did not get

[01:44:28] [SPEAKER_00]: michigan after all right because michigan ended up minus 10 and a half michigan ended up

[01:44:34] [SPEAKER_00]: they won by three blowing that yeah lead so didn't get that did get too lane minus five and a

[01:44:40] [SPEAKER_00]: half that was a good pick on her part uh they absolutely house south florida oh yeah they
