[00:00:23] , sir, actually I didn't see how I imagined the ladies lose to Texas

[00:00:30] , did you see that's a lot of people with a lot of good effort, I mean, they didn't have anything

[00:00:37] , in it was an Austin going up to the same way, they're hanging around, they put up a good effort, I was proud of them

[00:00:43] , and I'm just for them, I think it's about finding that, finding people, give more athletes, one scores to get to that next level, I mean, we're

[00:00:53] a good team but to move to that next level, you know, the LSU's and South Carolina's.

[00:00:58] We just not to that championship level yet so let's see what they're like right.

[00:01:04] Yeah, just not quite like you said on that level, but a program that's making strides.

[00:01:11] This was the first, I mean when we were in school, the women's team was terrible.

[00:01:18] You know, they had their good, good couple of years in the late 90s.

[00:01:23] But I mean for the most part, there's not a lot of history there.

[00:01:28] You know, just two to the last three years and you know, around the 32.

[00:01:34] I mean, there are three, 21 seasons different level.

[00:01:40] You know, not very many times as I would better be in there at least since the late 90s.

[00:01:46] So I mean, they're come a long way in the short time.

[00:01:58] But yeah, I'm going back to the guy side.

[00:02:02] Of course, the win over Charleston Friday night, great another 100 point game just came out hot just.

[00:02:12] Team on fire defensive effort laps a little bit toward the end.

[00:02:19] We had about what like a 30 point lead at one point and then just the less human.

[00:02:24] It's a good time.

[00:02:26] Yeah, that effort was there though when we needed the most, they were hot from the start.

[00:02:31] They wanted, you know, just this is what you wanted to see from this team.

[00:02:36] I mean, we knew we knew it was there the whole time.

[00:02:39] It's just a matter of can they put it together.

[00:02:44] You know, not the way we would have liked to end it this season.

[00:02:47] I mean, March up until this tournament run has been kind of lovely for us.

[00:02:52] I mean, have them in, you know, the SEC tournament was quick out for the, you know, big, you know,

[00:02:58] lost two, two times and base two weeks.

[00:03:01] And then, you know, coach, one way that, you know, where the effort is.

[00:03:08] You know, going to this deep in the march, you lay man there.

[00:03:12] So we got to those type of questions.

[00:03:15] So I mean, there was a, you know, I was like, then either Alabama's going to lose that first game where they're going to move

[00:03:22] on to the sweet 16 and, you know, got to the ladder the two, which, of course, we knew we had the opportunity to do.

[00:03:29] I mean, there's a lot of talent on that team.

[00:03:31] It's just a matter of the will to want to do that.

[00:03:34] And then we have to turn on the different switch.

[00:03:37] Seems like they're playing with different passion that may have not been there, especially on the role of a neutral sidegames and been there much at all.

[00:03:48] But I mean, they really were different with the team for the different levels of the camp.

[00:03:53] Yeah, and a gritty win today, we're recording this Sunday night.

[00:03:57] So not too long after the final whistle.

[00:04:01] I had to listen to the second half on the on the road on the radio and I could tell you, Chris Stewart not a fan of the referees before me.

[00:04:11] And but it sounded like I'm, I'll let you, you know, take over in a second here, but it sounded like we played a really gritty performance.

[00:04:22] They did their best to take us off our game.

[00:04:24] The foul calls were not going in our favorite all.

[00:04:27] We went through a slump in the second half came up cold shooting and turned them all over a lot, but they even took the lead came back from downtown.

[00:04:35] And then we turned it right around.

[00:04:37] Thanks to our boy, dea Votte, just sounded like he was the lynch pan for the comeback really.

[00:04:46] All right, speak on it.

[00:04:48] You know, he really was the, you know, clothes, I mean, you know, the first half.

[00:04:53] I mean, it was just a dog fight throughout.

[00:04:55] I mean, very physical game.

[00:04:57] I mean, the ref's left a lot left a lot of.

[00:05:01] A lot of calls on the court there, you know, you'd like to see the time, but it didn't seem to be fair enough when they did make the calls.

[00:05:08] You know, we lost the trail right so to a head injury there towards the end of the first half.

[00:05:14] Looks like he should be healthy for Carolina, according to reports now, but then you lose the guy like that,

[00:05:21] that situation and the big time game is my man, but you know, people stepped up like he said,

[00:05:26] Mody, about day in that second half.

[00:05:28] I mean, we have so many people in foul show, me grand Nelson with the foul trouble.

[00:05:33] You know, it's the same all same are big guys, another physical, but they get in foul trouble when we got no help.

[00:05:39] No help from the refs at all with that.

[00:05:42] But you know, Mody, the about a big freak throw some big time rebounds.

[00:05:48] You know, and then of course, our boy Mark Sears, some excellent passes.

[00:05:53] I mean, one of the shorty guys on the court, you know, gritty 10, 10 boards.

[00:05:58] I mean, that's the, you know, he was like, man, I'm not, I'm not ready to go home.

[00:06:03] I'm not, you know, they can very well have been his last game.

[00:06:06] I mean, he has that opportunity to come back, but then he doesn't even see the knees hat.

[00:06:11] Probably this is, you know, his last run until he went and got a letting go there.

[00:06:15] You know, and just just all our effort was phenomenal.

[00:06:22] And you know, when we were getting called, you know, they were frustrated, but, you know, they didn't let it change or gain their effort.

[00:06:30] But phenomenal, you know, they just kept going and, you know, things started going our way.

[00:06:36] You know, we get some of the loose balls, you know.

[00:06:40] And that's the thing when you put, when you're playing with a lot of effort, you know, good things come your way.

[00:06:44] But you know, I think that's what we saw today and what coach oats has been preaching our year.

[00:06:49] You know, if we could just get a, you know, a good defensive effort.

[00:06:53] Guys, one them to be out there, one in the play, they're going to fall our way.

[00:06:57] And, you know, we got that late in the second half.

[00:07:00] So, you know, after the where we're at there, and, you know, at this point now, you know,

[00:07:06] the second sweet 16 in a row, I mean, it's been since when 90, and they 90 91 that we've done that.

[00:07:12] So, I mean, so we were very little kids. I mean, we've done two main memories, you know, you know, we got to the one amazing, a lead A-run.

[00:07:20] But when we were in school, but I mean, this is, you know, new grounds for a lot of Alabama basketball fans.

[00:07:26] So sweet 16 in a row is, you know, phenomenal.

[00:07:32] And what three, four in the past five years now, right?

[00:07:36] Yeah, we've been the fourth, fourth, I didn't see any tournaments.

[00:07:43] Yeah, I mean, this is amazing what we're doing right now.

[00:09:04] We love to see it, but I mean, expectations are, you know, we'll play with house money.

[00:09:13] But I will say, you know, if we play with our same effort and intensity that we did this past weekend, I mean, whether we went to lose, Caroline is going to know that they had a bottle.

[00:15:51] I mean, as we've seen adults, he can recruit almost at the same level at Alabama now, you know, within the L and other things.

[00:16:06] So, I mean, the plan feels a little more even. And Alabama, I mean, you can make a run in Tuscaloosa.

[01:16:45] lose, but if I think if it's a weird thing, we talk about like expectations for like Alabama,

[01:16:51] we wanted to make the second weekend, but you'd also almost rather lose the first weekend and

[01:16:56] said, getting to that sweet 16 and being that close to the final four. And I don't know.

[01:17:03] I mean, yeah, it's one of those things, but yeah, I mean, every time I'm going to take this

[01:17:10] week, 16 impairments. Yeah, you got to think with pre-o four years in the sweet 16 forever,

[01:17:17] Alabama, I mean, that's amazing. Yeah, and it's great. And it's what we should be doing. But let's
