Is Beer Pong An Olympic Sport?

[00:00:24] So we're recording this Monday night and of course the big stories for us this week. The Olympics finally began in Paris, somewhere in Olympics. Did you catch any of that open in ceremony? I was in work. You know I've heard a bunch of mixed reviews.

[00:00:43] People call it kind of weird people like it. I've seen bits of pieces. I mean they were interesting, they were different and we've seen before but it is right. It's kind of a way to get an expect.

[00:00:58] I thought it was, we recorded it in from what we watched some of it last night going back to. It is just, it is. It is all kind of weird. Like you said it's French so it's artsy.

[00:01:10] It's different. They didn't do it in the stadium. They did it on the river saying like, it was fun man. It's cool and like I said we even got through all of it. I just thought it was real funny.

[00:01:30] It was just different and then how some people are so open arms over one little thing of it is just like I y'all are ridiculous. Yeah, but yeah. So if you watched any Olympics this weekend. I am the West of Google bit. I think that's what we got.

[00:01:53] A lot of stuff there. Of course, we are at hours with the B&F France but it got some more than one of the domestic things in our tree. From that big pink pond.

[00:02:05] And I did catch the US men being in our Serbia yesterday and I was so when there. So we started to go on. Yeah, we talked a little bit right before we came on. I want to echo your sentiment to Peacock's been great for this.

[00:02:24] I feel like they've really figured out how to just use that stream. You can just check out basically anything that's going on. So if you're really, Why are you playing exactly? Yeah.

[00:02:39] If you're out there listening and you really want to watch like some specific sports and you don't have Peacock to go ahead and get it like a free trial of it. So it's worth it. Yeah, it's worth it.

[00:02:50] But I mean really, I mean this like $70 kick off the plate for Peacock but I mean for what it is, I mean right now I think I pay like $70 for the year. I mean, consider now all the rest of paper views and what takes and other sports.

[00:03:04] I mean, I have to get your money. Yeah, we still got a bunch of these different stream and services now but I still think combine for what I pay only year.

[00:03:14] I still don't think I was definitely I know I'm not hitting what we were with direct TV back before we got rid of that. I mean the worst of that you know that was getting up to a couple hundred a month and it's ridiculous, you know. That's right.

[00:03:28] But now we're in front of me in a sports fan though you can't quite get the table. Yeah, that's why that's why I got YouTube TV man. Like I had to keep something.

[00:03:40] Yeah, because we made the decision it was kind of made for us because we had direct TV forever. Yeah, and then when we moved to Birmingham the first place we lived they couldn't do it because of the trees around us.

[00:03:53] And so we switched to a cable there when we bought the house we live in now. We just kind of like talked about it and like. The same thing like a direct TV they kind of come back or whatever like AT&T's not home our streets really frustrating.

[00:04:11] Right. It really is like no lie like that we had the guy tell us that fiber their fiber internet has installed two blocks in each direction but haven't come our street yet. I'm like, come on man. How to deal with spectrum.

[00:04:26] But we were talking right before we started recording about kind of weird sports which is you know what the Olympics are great for these like obscure individual sports or just things you want it think.

[00:04:38] You don't think of when you think Olympics like ping pong table tennis, you know. Is that your favorite summer Olympic word sport. I mean, you know, I mean, that is different one you know, mental rest is seen as break dance that part of the year so.

[00:04:58] That would be interesting. I like the archery you know it's just stuff you should never watch any other time. You don't know where they will think probably not archery. I do get into swimming. I don't even think it's probably the end.

[00:05:13] I don't watch when we were there before years. But I mean, it's a method, a method you know, for about four or eight years and you know, just good times that it probably just. I mean, I got a little big and six months out of balance pretty cool.

[00:05:28] Okay. To go to. But honestly outside of that, you know, gymnastics every four years are getting to.

[00:05:36] Yeah, it's funny. It's got some of those weird sports that occasionally if you like a phallabam was doing well in it or if like I'm just flipping through and I come on like SEC network and like the track and field finals are going on and I'm.

[00:05:50] You know, I might I might check it out, but yeah, like you a lot of these are just every four years watching. I think maybe that's a makes you fun, you know, it's not so for sure. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, it's pretty pretty cool there.

[00:06:04] You know, cats have an expert in a lot of these sports is just fun to watch. So yeah, and it's like. It's kind of like why I don't miss because of that. Like I do wish baseball and softball were still in the big sports.

[00:06:18] I think they deserve to be, but it's not like an outrage to me. I know there are some people that do. You know, we're going to see him right here. Yeah, I'm going to see it like. Yeah, like it's there.

[00:06:32] But you know, and there are some things I think the Olympics has a kind of a. Trying to think of the word here, but it's almost like you think when you think of a Olympics, you think individual sports more than.

[00:06:53] Teen sports are even the team ones are like something like gymnastics where everybody's doing their own event. You're just a team, but you know, then you got stuff like basketball, which is Olympic basketball's great. I love the rules. That's a world. Oh, yeah, international balls great. Yeah.

[00:07:10] Yeah, I mean that's probably like the most mainstream day that I, you know, I have to watch them. Because the, the basketball course, you know, I have this one's time to try to catch every game.

[00:07:22] But, uh, that's probably the only sport when I, you know, if we get upset if we don't win because of course, I think there's most of us do them. We should go every year, but everything else is kind of fun to watch just because you don't experience it.

[00:07:36] That much every other sport. Yeah, and what I think what keeps basketball fresh is the fact that there's only one. You know, huge, gigantic league in the world as far as the club times, you know, or, you know, regular teams.

[00:07:53] So it's cool to see everybody go play for their country and so you know, you get like the French team with Rudy Gobert Victor Webmagnana, you know, Tony Parker back in the day.

[00:08:03] So you see these stars at, you know, some of the bigger stars in the league, but then I'll set in your like, wait, wait, they're playing for what country. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

[00:08:14] Just a, just a competition level that's, of course, we know in the last 20 years is on net, like I mean, there's not a walk in the park like it was. And so, because there's so many international stars in the day to play for the home countries.

[00:08:34] You know, whether it be honest or you know, in the French players, you see, you know, you don't serve the, of course, you've seen Spain have some excellent teams with some of the other. So I mean, so yeah, it's just great, great basketball played in the national industry.

[00:08:51] Given the given us Americans quite the competition and other and some of barnburns that you want to expect you when it's, you know, a pro ball players being allowed out.

[00:09:09] Yeah, um, it's, you know, and then you think of a sport like soccer where you see it so much on the international stage that you don't really pay attention to as much in the Olympics, but you look for.

[00:09:22] You know, what you want to watch in the cool thing about Olympics, occurs, you see kind of younger players. Yeah, or like the French team, you know, obviously they're, you know, star stood a team on their own, you know, you know, followed them through the euros this year.

[00:09:39] Oh, a lot of those guys aren't playing because they're getting a rest, resting up for the regular season, but then the French team, so made up of a lot of young guys plus a lot of like guys that are late in their careers, but still valuable.

[00:09:51] So, you know, it's, it's a cool mix to, um, as on, you know, watching this, I have the kind of like some of the on course going playing right now on YouTube TV the multi view.

[00:10:04] Yeah, right now I got there's a swimming going on, uh, the women's 200 meter freestyle, I got some a question. Of course is jumping around always fun to watch. I got the Olympic sport that I like to think that I would have played a handball. It's a handball.

[00:10:28] It's fun. It is so I like, I like, and ball, that's one of my the sport, the weird sports I like watching because in Physad and high school on rainy days, we had a they called it the activity room and it's like this kind of like weird.

[00:10:43] Robert, Robert, Florida, Rue, almost off the weight room in our school and it was a size. It was like you could play basketball and I had a couple hoops in there.

[00:10:54] You could play it, but we played the weird things like dodgeball in there and then one day, you know, or, or Physad teacher coach squirrel he is like, we're going to play handball today and we're talking about what the house handball.

[00:11:07] It's a ball ball, you know, no. So we taught us the rules, you know, it wasn't the version you see.

[00:11:13] You know, only the Olympic's here because we didn't have a proper proper court, but it was kind of modified and it was fun man things got intense and you know there's a real athleticism to it, you know, you can't.

[00:11:26] The little circle there that you can't, you got to jump into. You can't just run into it thrown above before you land the strategy would like jump in and faking out.

[00:11:36] You know, remember we all came up with moves or the first person would jump to fake out slowly and then like like almost pass it back trying to allow you.

[00:11:45] So it was like this real fun sport that, you know, we used to get intense about it too. We'd almost even on days when it wasn't rain, you know, we kind of really coach us go play handball, go play handball.

[00:11:56] Get into it so it's fun to watch right now as I got Denmark and Egypt are playing a close one. But it's also the sport and then the fourth one on my screen is is the weirdest sport to me still.

[00:12:12] Skateboarding I'll never get used to skateboarding being an Olympic event. It's just fun. Yeah, right a group of the ex games generation man like this that's what I should be watching skateboarding on. Skateboarding on.

[00:12:29] You know, like skateboarding snowboard and always think of a there's an old Robin Williams bit he did after snowboarding was first introduced to the winter Olympics back I think I was around like 2000.

[00:12:44] And he talked about I think the first ever snowboarder to win a medal or something had to give it up because he tested positive for weed.

[00:12:52] And of course, you know, this is big in Robin Williams bit he's like that's not in a performance enhancing Joe come on poor guy like unless there's like 50 foot Hershey bar at the bottom of the hill then yeah.

[00:13:05] And then hit his joke was you know like they asked a guy for the medal got the poor guy said he couldn't find it it was almost neck.

[00:13:15] That's fun but no it's always weird to see skate where you know they got their uniforms and all that it's weird. But I think handball is again like so.

[00:13:29] Have you seen this meme it's going around at somebody was like a tweeter something like that and they said, I think the Olympics I've seen a couple different versions of it but they're basically like.

[00:13:42] One I've seen is the Olympic should be like jury duty like random people from every country getting nominated like you just you get a letter in the mail one day or someone comes to an auction who don't be like you're picked to serve on your Olympic team and you have to learn your sport and go represent your country and play it.

[00:13:58] I'd be hilarious and then the other version of that I've seen is that and the one that I think would be even better is it there should be one person.

[00:14:08] For each country in every event like one normal regular citizen just to show us how actually crazy it is to perform at these levels these athletes do.

[00:14:19] And then you run you know you run the 400 meter in track and then you get done that and then you got the regular person's 400 meters you know. You're destined.

[00:14:28] Yeah, right you see you know like someone runs a 50 and or the you know someone runs what the 100 and like 10.2 whatever and then get your normal person they run the 122 point to. 10 second mark. That would be that would be pretty happy.

[00:14:48] I think just the random we get selected for something never especially never do you know what. You're a question I hope you learned not but to learn how to write a voice. Right. That would be pretty good.

[00:15:08] Another sport I enjoyed once and so far why to get when he goes pretty quick the 7 on 7 rugby that was pretty up. Yeah. Yeah. The other friends of the E.G. friends wanted to go pretty pretty excited match. That's it. There's an intense intense game.

[00:15:32] Because there's no pants man. Who knows to him. And then you get that 7 on 7 spread that field out man. Yeah. I'm interested in the watch I haven't watched Emily even started the 3 on 3 basketball yet. I don't think I haven't seen it. That's all right. Well yeah, I am.

[00:15:59] What sport if you did get selected to serve your country what sport. Some of you have been one of the best basketball team I need to play. Just jump from Brian and some easy. Put me on the end coach. Don't put me in Steve's map land.

[00:16:21] You should be the hype guy on the bench. That's what I'm waiting for. All right. I don't even get on the court just put me on sports in it when I run out of react to a dump. Yeah, I'm just going to see me a little face time.

[00:16:35] That's I asked. But I don't know. You know, I've always liked swimming but I never been. Competitive enough to man one time got a cool on me. I haven't got something. But you know, I like swimming. I mean going to the pool and stuff.

[00:16:55] I mean I don't think that'd be crazy competition line. I think it'd be, you know, just see if you could actually do it. Yeah. Maybe, you know, If I went up and back, you know, I think that would be impressive enough. I figured out the pool.

[00:17:13] That's that's the regular person version of swimming. They don't time me. They just see if you can actually compete a lot. Can you go up and back? And then while they grow in pre-important. And about 800 or whatever. I, I think, kind of a long nose lines diving.

[00:17:36] But if it's more like diving off a diving board in your swimming pool, like a summer cookout, then, you know, all the flips and stuff like instead of trying to make the. It's crazy impressive.

[00:17:51] And the fact that they don't hardly have any splash considering how high they are. They got to see I'm, I'm in the belly flop and that's going to kill me. I'm always impressed at how closely come the hit their head on the day platform. Right.

[00:18:10] You know, my gosh, it's about to. Can you imagine online TV? Oh, from actually, I think the regular person version of dive and should just yeah, just be like who can you know, if you can do a flip into the pool. All right.

[00:18:30] Or have like he said have a belly flop competition. The red is belly is the winner. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's been, you know, it's always a fun. A couple weeks. Yeah. I always feel like it's fun.

[00:18:48] It's, you know, because the athletes are so happy to be there and you know, they work so hard. I have. We had talked about before. I mean, there's just someone pressure. I mean, you can't say all next year. I mean, you have to wait for years. Yeah.

[00:19:06] And then you had four years. I mean, a lot of content for years. You're a age. And are you being able to do that? You're doing the same sport. They're trying to get that same spot. I mean, it's crazy. See, you might have only got one time.

[00:19:21] And so much pressure. They actually win. It's a different type of joy just because man, that might be the only one time they have to do. You know, maybe. You know, whatever. You know, the breaking down on the podium. You know, during the next.

[00:19:40] You know, I'm not going to have to be done. I mean, and you know, it's fairly epic. It's really only one time that you know, I feel like sports is really on time. They're the miracle really comes together and anything.

[00:19:54] So yeah, even though, you know, no matter how you feel, I mean, something. How you feel politically about, you know, the national anthem right now. That when this is a different feeling where they play is after, you know, someone wins a. Or something.

[00:20:12] So it's a private main at all. You know, the kind of, you know, feel about things right now. But I don't know the Olympics. Some special. Yeah. It is. And I definitely like to move. They pulled.

[00:20:29] I don't even remember how long ago was now, but when they started separate in the winner and summary aims. Yeah. So now you get some Olympics at least every two years. All right. Yeah, I think that's there.

[00:20:42] Would you still wait in the for and between yet the somewhere? Yeah. I know winner. Yeah. I think, I'll get for the Olympics. So when, see, when do. I know the the women, the American women basketball team destroys. To destroy the country. So I do.

[00:21:09] When is the men's first or next game? Oh, Yeah. That might be one of those. You should kind of hold that. I know some about yourself. And to have a little injured with the economy. I mean, don't in a sucks about the women's competition as well.

[00:21:31] You can only have two people from you from the country and the individual. Of course, you know that. The third American should have should have gone based upon the stats. But you know, it's like for her to, you know, be part of the. I'll see.

[00:21:54] Someone looking for here. Do do do do do. Yeah. I got the standings. Go basketball schedule. So stuff tomorrow. I don't see the US we are Wednesday at 2 p.m. Wednesday at 1 p.m. against. There it is. So Jan on the 31st.

[00:22:32] We talked about that last last week. So, They're the wrong say to the end. You know, You got a big win. And it's Puerto Rico. No first game. So that's a huge win. Like a little tough thing. Basketball. I've had a good team's over here.

[00:22:59] Who's a Alvarado represent them. The US will play them Saturday. In the final. Group stage again. So hopefully we bounce back and get sauce with down. I'm sure there'll be a little more attention paid up. Consider in the class out in there. We'll get a lot of stats.

[00:23:21] So I think we will win pretty convincingly there. But I would say they have our attention after. After the last game for sure. Yeah, you got to think they won't be shooting near as hot as they did in the first half of that game. No.

[00:23:38] Yeah, so a, you know, something it's of course going to dominate sports the next couple weeks. Yeah, I'm going to call them. And that much else going on as far as on the field stuff and the world of sports just now. You know, You know, off the field.

[00:24:02] It's big for some sports with the, With a scholarship changes. Yeah, full balls at 105 now out from the east. But, Which is a good thing but probably. It's a walk on position more or less. I would say if you have a 105, 100 and five is, you know,

[00:24:26] Ross response, no, of course not everyone will use them. But I mean, there goes up a little bit. Best club in jump too much probably the big in jumps, of course, Your baseball and softball. Like 30 some scholarships. So that's huge for those sports.

[00:24:43] Yeah, those are absolutely huge for those sports. They've been angleing it more scholarships for years. I could 11 and a half or something like that. Yeah, it's a weird. And I said 30 30 30 some so that's huge. There's another Vanderbilt list. I use. Athletes,

[00:25:05] Scholarships to do on the baseball team, which is smart to the course of probably. It's one of the qualified for it, but you know, Different way they had to go about it. Yeah, and you mentioned the,

[00:25:18] The lost potential loss of the walk-ons and that is a real shame. You know, a couple, you know, Dabba Swini, of course he. Said it was very frustrating to think about that,

[00:25:34] but it's just part of the ever changing world of college athletics now of these lawsuits and court cases and just they, You know, some bills coming do so to say for the NCAA running things away they ran them. Poor. A long time. Yeah, forever.

[00:25:54] And he had to be interested and see how I played out. Thank some schools is coming off to them to keep up with all these scholarships changes. It's got this hard day of fun. Everything. Some, you know, some of these Olympic sports we've enjoyed and watching so far.

[00:26:12] You know, it's coming something. Some schools that's coming off to them to keep funded those type of teams. And that scholarship needs and there, you know, filled in 30 for baseball. You know, we're taking a hit at so.

[00:26:26] Of course, some sports can take a hit at some point with that. Yeah, which is a shame. But again, that's kind of the word we live in now. Other than that, you know, college, slow, you know,

[00:26:44] Of course, you know, we talked about it last week, of course, but the big all the big college things going on right now are related to the game. The video game itself.

[00:26:55] Which I got a nice old school day of my wife had to leave town for work this past Saturday and my kids was with his grandmother, my mom. So had a nice day to myself. A whole lot of. Oh, yeah.

[00:27:15] But yeah, other than that, you know, really only things come on a college right now, you know, You just kind of wake up and see what Georgia player got a speeding ticket or reckless driving ticket this week. It, you know, it's a joke.

[00:27:32] You know, we like to joke about it all that, but it is a weird, a weird problem that they've had so many driving related. And then the last thing that I'm going to pass is the most recent charge of why right Thomas.

[00:27:45] That's the abuse and the child abuse, and he got the previous charge when he first got the Georgia, but they kind of expunged that so I mean, That's in the second charge for the same type of stuff.

[00:27:57] I mean, it's you know, some of the, you know, some of the stuff like driving reckless, I mean, that's kind of the young person thing. But yeah, when it comes to maybe, you know, maybe, in the views or the child abuse, well, you know, whatever.

[00:28:12] If that's anywhere true, I mean, you can't really, I mean, that's something you have to take a little bit and you would think take a little bit more serious than, you know, reckless driving because some of the college can do a bad everywhere.

[00:28:24] I mean, that's not can be deadly. We've seen it happen. We don't think we belong from it.

[00:28:31] But that doesn't really, I don't know, that's a, you know, too much for me just because I know how college kids are, but when it comes to other stuff like, yeah, Georgia seems to stand a news for it.

[00:28:44] So we'll see what they, what they do or how Kirby answers to the questions, because I'm sure every week he answers more questions about it. Almost as much as how to see them come and go and see them.

[00:28:56] Yeah, and of course, Ra Ra has been suspended from the team indefinitely. Which on the field, a big blow for Georgia, you know, he's kind of going back to the server.

[00:29:08] Yeah, and you know, he's kind of going to be probably the guy to step up and take the lead. And that, that receiver core after, you know, Brock Bauer is lad in the connolly graduated there moving onto the league now.

[00:29:22] You know, Georgia's got enough stars, I'm sure someone else will say something. Don't feel bad for them at all, but it is interesting to see you know how to, you know, plays out with some of their legal problems after few days. Yeah, big par de oxies.

[00:29:41] Let's go for years. Outside of that, of course, the one big, good, smart going on right now, baseball, the trade deadline is win. And today, so a lot of last second dealings, nothing. No real big blockbusters or anything yet. The Mariners did get Randy.

[00:30:07] Rosarena, how they the biggest name, if not, maybe the yanks getting jazz chiseled. Yeah, that was good. Those got Zach Eflin from the raise. That's probably your biggest three names that it moves so far on there's of course lots of talk a lot of little moves, you know,

[00:30:27] team showing up bullpins and stuff, you know, my braves kind of, treading water right now, people interest see if they actually make a move or if they kind of throw this season up to a, kind of a loss, you know, is there's obviously losing strider and a connoom,

[00:30:43] but then, you know, Ozzy Alby's fractured his wrist on kind of just a free play. Just, you know, cover and second base on the steel and caught the ball in the runner as he was sliding his hand hit the guy and he fractures his hand or wrist.

[00:30:59] Yeah, that's how we can throw it out to the end of September. So I am interested to see if the braves kind of, if they make a couple small moves here there to try to keep in it or if they just kind of say

[00:31:13] hey, not our year that's hold on to our prospects. Yeah, let's not but there's a couple big names out there still.

[00:31:23] You know, I've seen what's his face Cody Bellinger's name out there a lot of Lane Thomas Jack Flirti on the mound he could he's got the definitely could go Tyler Anderson.

[00:31:39] So there's still a few guys that could be moving as team to kind of gear up try to hit this stretch run. And a year yanks helped out the braves today by beating the hell out of the fillies but then the braves got what themselves by the brewers.

[00:31:57] All right. So crosses on. Yeah, good. I mean and the Yankees that we did. I mean, children have a two one shot today. George 99. I'm home. I want to call it back in the lineup. Let's say one of us may help me.

[00:32:19] Yeah, but it's still been I don't know. I just I don't trust us. I don't know. Just You've been up and down there, you know, been had it's time. But we'll see how it goes there.

[00:32:36] I just don't believe in this team that's where the winner comes to play out. But we'll see our players out. Yeah, I mean, it's they're definitely not, you know, in a race. Type one with the eyes for the alice and then.

[00:32:50] But the guardians for the best overall record in the AL. At the playoffs where to start today, your. Division winners would be the Orioles, the guardians and asses and then you're all your three walk art teams and be yanks twins and royals.

[00:33:09] And that's going to be, you know, kind of a heck of a race because then even right behind them. You got the Red Sox Mariners race and raise only three games back and if you want to go even just a little bit back. Yeah, you got to rain the tigers or six games back.

[00:33:26] Defended world champs or hangers are six back. So. And same thing in the, you know, two, you know, your division leaders right now fill these brewers Dodgers. With the fillies having slight edge for best overall record and then you get to the wild card.

[00:33:48] Very, yeah, the Brazer right there half came up with the met some potteries. Those would be your three teams. Then you got the Diamondbacks, a game back. Cardinals, game in a hand. That's burger two and a half pirates.

[00:34:02] And each giant at four of the breads at five, you know, he knows. You know, even down the watch, you didn't say that I mean, I actually kind of moved my amy and come on.

[00:34:14] But yeah, I mean, I probably see this probably out, but I mean, seven days, we've seen crazy things happen at their little regular seasons. You know, someone's lost us in my good thoughts.

[00:34:27] I think a lot of, I think they depend on to you if they if they trade land Thomas who's their best player. They're definitely building for the future, but some of those teams, you know, we talked about like the, you know, like the tigers are Rangers, you know, the Rangers defend the champs. They don't want to go out like a punk. So they're going to.

[00:34:47] I figured they might make some moves or some, some way through reds or giants that are right there. Yeah.

[00:34:57] And so you know, one of the most fun players in baseball. I mean, you see, I mean, I know a lot of people don't get to watch the reds and make.

[00:35:12] And they're little crews. I mean, he's super fun. Probably one of the most fun players are watching the game today. And of course, you like, basically, you know that. Yeah. Oh, actually, it looks like the guardians got laying Thomas already. So it's a good pick up for them.

[00:35:35] And finally, we're on the edge of a. Right. Really, really solid year. Like we mentioned best record in the L right now. Still weird at times that there's a copy.

[00:35:51] Yeah, it always takes me just to split second when someone just mentions you know the guardian. So my go up right cleave them clear. Yeah. Let's see. Elsewhere going on in the sea of NFL camps training camps that've been done.

[00:36:29] So you start to see a little bit of that Hall of Fame week coming up, you know, and get the bears and techs on to play that game on the first.

[00:36:57] Andre Johnson, just a beast of a receiver. Mongo, steed McMichael. No, guys in our generation remember him more, you know, as a member of the forespend. And his wrestling career then, you know, but he was a hell of a linebacker in his day and then joined this pepper.

[00:37:17] Yeah, I know. Yeah, I'll battle in ALS. Tell of himself. You know, get in there. Why are you still here? It's a great thing. I'm going to do the as peppers. Since I have to leave there from a plate of every sport of Carolina's in life.

[00:37:42] Excellent with the panters and Patrick Willis. I'm just, oh, yeah. Yeah, I'm actually, I mean, we nearly see all this time. One is a couple of times and you know, took that to the lead man. That was one of the epic linebacker clues will blow me.

[00:38:01] And Willis and Sam Ryan have been so nasty. And saying to think that, you know, he just played, you know, remember his retirement was a shocker. Yeah, only seven seasons played in the league. But just absolutely, yeah, or amazing. He was not to be trifled with.

[00:38:23] Yeah, so you know, that's, that's kind of really what's everything is going on right now. Yeah, nothing. I haven't seen any like big injuries or anything in training camp, yeah, you know.

[00:38:39] Yeah, well, yeah, well, it's not that you just name out there. But the Cowboys, you know, we're trying to show up at defensive mind. We are with a 20 ACL already. Of course, big of a thing in Dallas, all right. People.

[00:39:01] I want to talk about back and maybe his last season in Dallas when in Dallas. You know, spend the keep them there because of course, you know that as we know that QB market is broken. I mean, did you see the other day I was Jordan.

[00:39:20] I mean, see the last year, but he just set the right for the 200 and some million. You're nice, but man. You won where one playoff game. Yeah, it's in you know, you get it right there.

[00:39:37] Yeah, you got to, you know, good for him for four years, two to 20 million for the guy like, It just like man, he had a heck of a listen. First year there, I mean, struggled to start really came on how to be in there.

[00:39:53] No epic clap game against the Cowboys of course. So good, you know, they came close with a sound was a play in the sentence. Can't close with the 49ers. Yeah, they kind of, they had them and then the 49ers drove down late and took the lead.

[00:40:15] So I mean, he, I mean, so much signs of being a day, spray pack is quarterback. But I was taking man just the fact that he can command that money just kind of shows you whether market is right now, just ridiculous.

[00:40:28] If you're okay quarterback, you're going to get big time money, just because people don't want to miss out, you know, that. It was just crazy.

[00:40:40] Yeah, it's something that's going to have to reset itself just because all this money wants to use quarterbacks and really can't sign all these other stars because So much money is going to that quarterbacks part. And it's just what crazy watching his feet.

[00:40:58] Find the side of many of they can and they can't, you know, do a thing. You used to be able to do just because no matter how much you're making, like someone's contrast, no matter how much of things around it, just still have the crazy number.

[00:41:16] Yeah, and like you said, it's just kind of the nature of the beast people want to get their quarterbacks locked down, but you expect this bubble to kind of pop at some point because again, Jordan love.

[00:41:27] You know, did his understanding thing for a little bit. He had a great season last year, great playoff run. But already, you know, that's a lot. And then our boy to a.

[00:41:40] He got me as well. This is a big big money. Other four years, two hundred twelve point four million in deal, a hundred sixty seven of which is guaranteed. Rich is contract dolphin history, eighth highest and. He's got a lot of money in quarterback history.

[00:41:59] I mean, he's come like a long way from a guy that many of them have after those concussions. I mean, it was talking, you know, the dolphins, maybe from a moment, you know, first couple years are very. And still, I mean, even.

[00:42:17] You know, they put up gotty numbers. And it's the best beyond it's to stretch that league and you know, we seem struggle might of lead. The British wanted a league stuff, you know, but you know, good for him get that money.

[00:42:32] You know, so kind of improving commodity overall. It's, I mean, you know, we've seen them have epic numbers with. With water and. I mean, just as what. What has really been. So see one that you're like, now they couldn't even keep the division last year.

[00:43:02] Yeah, there's there's no big like signature wins for them and you know, and the knock on him as much as we want to root for him is, you know, does he. Can he really find success outside of the system that.

[00:43:15] Mike Madamio is great did there in my form. Can he know unlock a different skill set and his playmaking or, you know, isn't enough? Is it just a matter of what's being built around him and everybody execute in the defense holding up its into the bar.

[00:43:34] So they've got all the talent in the world on offense you mentioned, you know, they're two receivers and then, you know. Great. A chain. Yeah, great running game. They really added to.

[00:43:46] So we'll see, you know, though, definitely being exciting offense to watch. And then you got the other. Into the spectrum and training camp, the fun stuff. Guys like coming from the UFL, you know, maybe have good seasons and spring football and they're getting a chance to.

[00:44:02] Yeah, scroll them through a wrist, a list here. No names really jump out at me. A former, you know, a couple like couple guys that maybe had a decent season or two in the college, but nothing like no big former like Alabama players or anything.

[00:44:29] But it's always fun story, you know, you love to hear those stories. You know, guys it, you know, it's like that the ultimate one of course, what Kurt Warner, you know, arena football league guy. Back in groceries to the side.

[00:44:44] Yeah, just came in to San Luis at the perfect time, you know, trying green got hurt. Yeah, here in for us was this, for instance. Yeah, amazing. Yeah, great. But yeah, that's all I had my notes. Anything you want to talk about this week.

[00:45:38] Yeah, week zero is coming up on us quicker than we think the 24th. Yeah, that's you know, that. And she looks like one of more as we get closer, but I'm not for the stage Georgia taking might be a little interesting.

[00:45:55] Yeah, that'd be, and you know, from Dublin Ireland, they're doing that again. So that could be going on there. Interesting game. Yeah, the Georgia Tech really had a decent season compared to what they've been. Going into, you know, last year.

[00:46:14] The plumber cubi from Texas and then we got hurt and it kind of got sober some pain sounds like you might think. Think it may be a little tougher game to afford a state. My thinking might be a little bit more. I'm actually interesting.

[00:47:57] some way nights hurt a little bit in the morning. I'm going to say the same. You know, when we talk last week, I had actually gotten to play a lot. So I got to play more this week and yeah, just the same thing.

[00:48:14] Have a couple of late nights, couple one of those like, oh shit, look at the time. I should go to bed. That kids are going to get me up in the world earlier than all of that. It's just been fun.

[00:48:25] You know, I mentioned having a day to myself to play. Nice. Yes, just a good like we talked to our last year. Good nostalgic kick. Awesome to get that feeling back. You know, like we said, a couple bugs here that, you know, they're working on updates.

[00:48:44] E a did officially released that they have an update in the works and they're going to address a lot of the issues that people have talked about, of course. But yeah, so it'll be fun.

[00:49:00] But I don't do it for us. Like I mentioned, we might skip next week, but I'll put something on the social media. Once I do figured out for everybody in a course will figure out our schedule. Like I said, we'll probably start doing our previews, college football previews.

[00:49:19] We're going to be a big conference. Yeah, we've got a lot of, yeah. You know, the big 10 is the 18 now. That's amazing things. It's going to be weird to see. Yeah. Oh, co-scompens now. Yeah.
