[00:00:00] I will take projection
[00:00:06] Welcome everybody to Takin On Sports, I am TD, that is Greg. Greg, how you doing man?
[00:00:12] Man, I am pretty good. Um, now last night made for, first part of the week was tough for me, for non-sports reasons anyway, but, man, beautiful last night.
[00:00:26] Yeah, yeah.
[00:00:27] Absolutely beautiful.
[00:00:29] Nice soothing night, uh, nice to take it easy. Uh, always good to beat down LSU, especially in Baton Rouge, you know.
[00:00:39] And just the way it was done.
[00:00:41] Just the way.
[00:00:42] A fun fact, too, uh, Alabama has more wins against LSU in Baton Rouge than LSU does against Alabama.
[00:00:50] Oh, yeah, I saw that.
[00:00:53] I was like, wow, that's amazing.
[00:00:55] I mean, as much hype as that place gets for night.
[00:00:58] Mm-hmm.
[00:00:59] I mean, it's a great atmosphere. It's a great atmosphere.
[00:01:02] It is, no doubt. I'd love to see a game there. Yeah, I've never seen a game there, but they get hyped, you know, they're great tailgaters, all that good food, you know, but every time someone brings it up.
[00:01:12] As a Bama fan, I just shrug my shoulders and we're going to ass overrated.
[00:01:15] Every time. Every time. Every time. It's so funny.
[00:01:19] Mm-hmm.
[00:01:20] And somebody, so I saw somewhere, it's pretty funny, they said the people throwing the water bottles on the field would have better arms than us.
[00:01:30] Oh, that's good stuff.
[00:01:32] Good stuff.
[00:01:35] Excellent execution.
[00:01:37] I mean, yes.
[00:02:03] Dude, the whole game.
[00:02:33] It's so funny. Like, every week he has a little thing on Paul Feinbaum on Mondays. I might have to check out tomorrow just to see what he says. He's such a crybaby.
[00:02:43] But, yeah. We talked about it last week. We knew the weakness of the LSU defense was a running game and especially running quarterbacks.
[00:02:52] And DeBoer and Sheridan and staff, they handed the ball to Jalen. And the funny part is they ran that same band, that little, that QB lead almost with the running backs.
[00:03:03] Yeah.
[00:03:03] Out of the shotgun, that little draw, the running back leading the way. And Jalen just all night. And tell you what, he looks healthy again.
[00:03:10] There's no way you can tell me he wasn't hurt in October.
[00:03:13] There was something off on that. Something was going on. We talked about it. Something was off in Knoxville. Something was off against South Carolina.
[00:03:22] He looked a little bit better against Missouri, but he was still a little, he was a little timid running.
[00:03:27] He was a little slow.
[00:03:28] Yeah.
[00:03:28] Yeah. But that bye week did magic. His full, yeah, everything's back with him.
[00:03:38] I mean, that was about as perfect. And yeah, I mean, it wasn't anything fancy, but they knew what they had to do to beat LSU.
[00:03:45] They ran it. Everything was around perfectly.
[00:03:48] But sometimes there is beauty in simplicity.
[00:03:50] It was just a beautiful game plan. And it just kept working and working. So why get away from it?
[00:03:55] Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. There's, there's beautiful, beautiful. There's beauty in simplicity.
[00:04:00] And if you know that you can just run, run, run, and they're not going to stop it, then do it. I mean, literally the only thing that went wrong was that one deep pass.
[00:04:09] Ryan Williams just couldn't make that dive and catch. If he did that, it would have just been another spectacular.
[00:04:14] I did it. Right. I mean, I think that was more the ball than anything. That was the ball. It was raining.
[00:04:20] And then that, uh, the other one that Emmanuel Henderson touchdown. Oh, he was so open. We overthrew him, but he was getting blitzed, but he threw.
[00:04:28] Just, yeah. Just, yeah. And then those two plays, I mean, it was.
[00:04:35] Perfect. Perfect. Yeah. Uh, and then defensively.
[00:04:41] Whoa. Defense got after it. That swarm. They, they swarmed them and they got after it. They, they made us uncomfortable all night.
[00:04:49] They were showing them different looks pre-snap and they had no idea what to look for. They could not adjust for it. They just, it's, it's one of the best ass weapons I've seen in a while.
[00:05:00] Man. It was epic. Oh, not proportions. I mean. And then too, like the defense, cause they say this one works and everybody's doing their job.
[00:05:10] And then obviously everybody's doing their job. The other thing I really liked is that young secondary is growing up a lot.
[00:05:17] Mm-hmm. They, they, from what we saw, even, you know, first part of October to now, I mean, they, they're, they're holding their own. They're doing their thing.
[00:05:28] And the honest, I mean, it's not like they're playing bombs yesterday. They're playing LSU team that's been putting up points, yards on everybody.
[00:05:36] I mean, they have.
[00:05:37] Nussmeyer actually has better stats than Jaden Daniels did at this point last year, at least in terms of like passing stats.
[00:05:44] Yes. I mean, he, he, and they have, um, some, some very talented wide receivers. So it's not like we were playing, uh, one like Missouri where they had people hurt and stuff.
[00:05:56] They had all the wide receivers. Everybody's as healthy as you could be in November. I mean, um, we just shut down everything.
[00:06:04] Yeah. You saw it on their, their, their garbage time touchdown there at the end. That was a great back shoulder throw. Great catch. That's a kind of arm talent that Nussmeyer has.
[00:06:13] Right. Uh, you know, he can sling it and he can put it like on the dime somewhere and the coverage was great. The pressure was great. Like he just is all around. Just, uh, you know, give the flowers to the staff and the players.
[00:06:27] Like you said, it's, we knew it would take time. We knew we had a young secondary coming in and they would have to mature on the field. And we knew the coaching staff would have to adjust to the SEC.
[00:06:37] We knew the players would have to adjust to the new coach and staff. And that looks like that's finally happening. You know, we saw it in the Missouri game. Uh, and now with this bi-week, it really looks like they've taken a big step forward.
[00:06:50] We saw a great defense in the first half against Tennessee as well.
[00:06:54] Mm-hmm. Yeah. Yeah, exactly.
[00:06:55] We didn't take advantage of it.
[00:06:57] Yeah. And we talked about that then if, uh, you know, we had three, if we just got three field goals off those three times, it was Alabama would have won that game.
[00:07:05] But, and speaking of not to besmirch the kid, uh, you know, uh, what's the kicker's name? Nicholson, whatever his name is.
[00:07:12] But come on, man. Will Riker should have got that gross award last year. Let's be honest.
[00:07:17] Dude, I am. Yeah. I was going to mention something about him. I mean, I, and like, he only had the one field goal, you know, but he missed the heck out of it.
[00:07:27] Mm-hmm. Like, like, that was terrible. Like, I mean, we'll maybe give him half a pass because of the rain, but.
[00:07:35] Right. But, uh, you know, this dude, I, I thought was going to be legit. And I, obviously he hasn't kicked many times, but anytime he's been out there, I'm not, I have not really been impressed at all.
[00:07:46] So, no, you know, with, with, with, with the Riker, you had that confidence, you know, it was almost Justin Tucker. Like, you know, you're like, all right, he going to make it.
[00:07:58] Um, this dude, I don't know. He's only, he's only had a few, but damn, it's been wild.
[00:08:05] Yeah. You wanted to make, yeah. We needed to make a big kick or a clutch kick to really kind of.
[00:08:10] I don't know. He hasn't in him. I don't know.
[00:08:15] Yeah. So that's what we worry about.
[00:08:16] I mean, obviously he is good. I mean, he was good enough last year, but this year he's been shaky. He's had a couple of misses. I'm like, wow.
[00:08:23] Wow. Well, yeah. Um, yeah, you know, it's, it's funny. You think we could talk longer, but there's, I mean, what else can you really say? It was just a beautiful game.
[00:08:35] Um, I did one thing I did like, I like how they got Jim Miller involved in the receiving game yesterday. They went out of their way to make sure he got, I mean, he had some explosive plays there.
[00:08:46] So, I mean, if you're not running as much with the backs, obviously Jim Miller can catch well out the backfield. So why not get him involved there? I thought that was, you know, a good, good job with that. Um, you know, I guess the only downfall of the whole game was that we lost, um, what's his name for the, for the rest of the season. Um, I can't even think of his name right now on the, um, I'm going to miss that. Uh, yeah.
[00:09:18] Okay. He got hurt last night. Uh, the upper arm, um, Q, Q Robinson. We lost him for the rest of the season.
[00:09:25] Nah, damn. I didn't see that.
[00:09:26] That's a loss. Yeah. Um, now one, one dude that I very, was very impressed with, but before we move on to other things, like I said, not much to talk about here.
[00:09:36] Dude, I would, since, um, he's, um, coming to his, uh, own there.
[00:09:46] Um, man, Bray Hubbard.
[00:09:53] Since, since Keon stopped out and he's kind of stepped into that spot, man, I, he's a, wow. Yeah.
[00:10:00] I, you know, he hits hard, plays hard. I mean, I, I really like him. So no, yeah.
[00:10:06] I'm excited to see what he turns into.
[00:10:08] Yeah. A lot of these young guys really stepping up on defense and love to see it. Um, uh, I will close with this, uh, tweet of the week.
[00:10:16] James burn up our punter tweeted just happy. They let me punt a couple of times.
[00:10:20] Uh, and that's, that's, that pretty much sums it up. Uh, but yeah, a beautiful, beautiful nightcap for Tide fans.
[00:10:31] And during the day there was a little bit of chaos going on. We talked about wood lane.
[00:10:37] Could he finally get that first big win in Oxford at Ole Miss? Uh, they, they've been close.
[00:10:43] They've been great, you know, 10 win seasons, but they just can't knock off the big boys.
[00:10:47] We talked about last week, how Georgia's turnover problems, maybe this is the time.
[00:10:52] And early on, it looked like maybe not, uh, Georgia kind of scored right away.
[00:10:57] They had that, that early pick and they turned it into a touchdown early.
[00:11:01] And I was like, Oh no, here we go again. Uh, that was the only touchdown they scored all game.
[00:11:06] Yeah. Uh, Ole Miss came through their defense to the hell of a job.
[00:11:10] 28 to 10. Uh, yeah, more turnover problems for Georgia.
[00:11:16] Yeah. Yeah. It's crazy. Yeah. I don't know what's going on.
[00:11:20] I mean, he only had one pick yesterday, but yeah, no, definitely not a good game.
[00:11:25] Yeah. I mean, yeah, just, uh, and clearly, I mean, there's talent at Georgia, but I mean,
[00:11:33] it's a, it's different. The wide, there's not the, there's no, there's no wide receiver that can,
[00:11:40] you know, he doesn't feel comfortable with his wide receivers. You can tell that. Um,
[00:11:46] and we're November now. So, I mean, that's just who they are at this point. Um, and Ole Miss,
[00:11:51] I mean, they, they, they, that defense was nasty yesterday. I mean, the whole Georgia to 10 points
[00:11:57] at any time, even with their defense, with their offensive woes. I mean, it's still amazing.
[00:12:04] And I, you know, I, you know, miss that on the bets column, but I mean, you know, I happily miss
[00:12:10] this one. Cause you know, I thought, you know, until Lane does it, I'm not, I'm not giving him
[00:12:14] the benefit of the doubt because there's been so many other times we thought, man, this is his time
[00:12:19] whether, you know, for us, we never saw, but you know, many people thought he's going to catch Nick
[00:12:23] at some point. Never happened. You know, that the game last year against Georgia got absolutely
[00:12:29] housed in Athens. Um, and so, yeah, you started looking and yeah, but man, you know, and the
[00:12:37] other thing big too is not only was it big because of the big opponent, but your playoff season is on
[00:12:43] the line. Yeah. Against number three in the country and you housed them.
[00:12:51] And I'll tell you what, speaking of playoffs to this loss, if Georgia, two losses in conference
[00:12:57] to Alabama and Ole Miss. And if you look at the sec standings, you know, that means they have,
[00:13:03] they do not have the tiebreaker over either of them. Not to, it might not matter in terms of the sec
[00:13:08] race, but if you start looking at large bids for the playoff and you know, if the big 10 gets in a
[00:13:16] few teams, if, you know, maybe if there's two group of five teams somehow, maybe, you know, or if
[00:13:22] there's just a deciding spot where you have two spots for three teams and those three teams are Alabama,
[00:13:28] Ole Miss and Georgia, how can you put Georgia over the two teams they lost to? Uh, so there, that's,
[00:13:36] that's something to worry about if you're a dog fan right now. Um, and they don't really have time
[00:13:40] to worry because they can turn around and they host Tennessee next week. Tennessee. Now the only thing
[00:13:45] good for them is it's in Athens. Yeah. Um, and Nico, Nico got hurt in that first half, did not come
[00:13:52] back the game. They did say that it was just a precautionary thing as they expect him to be healthy,
[00:13:57] right? But you never know. Oh yeah, that, but the bigger problem is that turnover machine that is the
[00:14:04] Georgia offense going against that really, really good Tennessee defense, man. Uh, even at home,
[00:14:10] they got to fix it or else that's, that might be troublesome for them again. Yeah. Yeah. Cause I
[00:14:17] mean, it's amazing how many turnovers they've had this year. It's been very sloppy. And that's what's
[00:14:24] it like 12 interceptions in the past five games now, six games, like it's wild, you know, and it's just
[00:14:31] amazing that they even were able to go into Austin to win with all those turnovers that they had. Um,
[00:14:37] and you know, you know, you know, they had to do all the turnovers against Florida. Now Florida,
[00:14:42] like we talked about last week, you know, KJ plays, maybe they lose last week. I mean,
[00:14:47] Florida was running with them from, um, so I mean something clearly is off the season at Georgia.
[00:14:54] I mean, yeah, the playoffs is seems pretty unlikely unless a lot of craziness happens. Um,
[00:15:02] but yeah, I mean, we of course still have November is going to be wild cause this whole season has been
[00:15:08] wild every week is something. And once again, most of the schedule didn't look that great,
[00:15:14] you know, outside of the Alabama LSU, um, and the Ole Miss, uh, Georgia. I mean,
[00:15:19] the rest of the schedules kind of blah, blah, but yeah, we saw a lot of chaos. Yeah. Uh,
[00:15:26] you know, Blaine, uh, through the Alabama take account, you know, asked us on, I believe it was
[00:15:32] threads, you know, he said, uh, is there a reason for all this chaos this year that's so hard to
[00:15:37] predict or anything? I think we all, I think Mallory might've went two and two in the, the
[00:15:42] bets column this week, but all of us, the rest of us had horrible weeks. I went 0-1-3 in the college.
[00:15:48] Yeah. I went 0-1-3 in the college. I think, uh, yeah, I had the bills today, so I got that. So at
[00:15:54] least got one win on the weekend, but yeah, I just, and not a good day. Uh, a lot of it,
[00:16:00] of course is just, you know, some of it, some of it's the NIL, some of it's a transfer portal
[00:16:05] and some of it, I just, uh, you know, I just, I just think that these younger folks,
[00:16:14] I mean, of course there's going to be some separation, you know, Alabama, Ohio state,
[00:16:18] Georgia going to get some of the talent, but I don't think there's much brand recognition
[00:16:23] that's not what they're so much worried about anymore. They want to play and they're going
[00:16:29] to go where they can get their best NIL or best options to play, or, you know, they're
[00:16:35] looking out more for themselves, which is fine with me. But along with that, you know, it
[00:16:42] spreads it out, spreads out the talent more. And so even though the, you're the big dogs
[00:16:47] are still going to get the best, they're not going to get all the best, which is then leaves
[00:16:53] and that second tier of great players that may be not coming to Alabama, Ohio state,
[00:16:58] you know, Georgia anymore, it's still a hell of a talented bunch. So, you know, you get your,
[00:17:03] you know, Ole Miss, you get your, you know, tenant, you know, Tennessee, you know, um,
[00:17:09] and then you look around here, you know, people, you know, um, I mean, there's people
[00:17:14] that want to be trailblazers, you know, people, if, uh, you know, Kirk Sinetti keeps the winning
[00:17:20] at Indiana, I don't know how long he's going to be there, but they're going to be like,
[00:17:25] why not go there? Then, you know, it's pretty cool that we can win. And that's the other thing
[00:17:30] too. If you can see yourself winning at Indiana, you don't necessarily have to go to Alabama,
[00:17:35] you know? So I think it's just, uh, it's just a lot of different things that factor into it
[00:17:40] and just makes it maybe frustrating at times for the, you know, fans have become used to certain
[00:17:45] things, but for just your average fan, it's very, you know, a lot of fun. Yeah, no, I think you nailed
[00:17:52] it. Uh, and that's pretty much what I said, you know, in very short sentences. Uh, but I think,
[00:17:58] yeah, we're finally seeing the parody effects from, uh, NIL and, uh, the transfer forward to take
[00:18:03] place. And like you said, I think recruiting is a little more spread out these days. Uh, you don't
[00:18:08] have like a, a monster like Nick Saban eating up all these recruits, you know, and, uh, you know,
[00:18:14] you still obviously got great, you know, Kirby's a great recruiter. You got programs like that,
[00:18:18] but, uh, uh, and then I, the other thing I've said too, is I think, I think there were just,
[00:18:23] there's a lot more really good coaches out there now. Um, I think, you know, maybe like five,
[00:18:29] 10 years ago, there were obviously good coaches out there, but there weren't as many, uh, you know,
[00:18:35] a lot of times we would see a saving assistant or, uh, you know, a Dabo assistant or somebody like
[00:18:40] that go out there on their own and they would just kind of flame out as a head coach. And now
[00:18:47] I think a lot of these guys are actually, uh, they're becoming really good coaches. Yeah. They're
[00:18:53] winning and they're becoming good coaches in there. So there's a lot, there's the, the talent
[00:18:57] pool for coaches is a lot deeper now. And I think that's another reason that we're seeing a lot of
[00:19:03] these programs, uh, pump up and, uh, and a lot of these teams able to get wins. Uh, and you know,
[00:19:10] we'll go right into the other big upset the day. Number four, Miami goes down another great coach
[00:19:16] and hiring Brent key there at Georgia tech. And they just ran all over them. What was it? Like
[00:19:21] two 70 some yards on the ground. They only threw the ball 16 times. Yeah. Uh,
[00:19:28] they just dominated Miami, honestly. And that, that pass rush got to them and you know, Miami
[00:19:33] did their thing. They almost came back, but yeah, we talked about Georgia's, you know,
[00:19:39] turnover problems were going to bite them in the ass and they did. And Miami has a problem
[00:19:43] getting down double digits and it's, it finally hurt. You know, you kept on thinking all they're
[00:19:49] going to do it. Um, I think too, um, you know, Haynes King coming back for Georgia tech was huge
[00:19:57] for him because he's a hell of a runner. Yeah. Hell yeah. He just played 10 Tebow like game
[00:20:02] yesterday to smash mouth. 20 rushes, 93 yards, touchdown. I mean, so clearly you wonder,
[00:20:10] you know, they're six and four record right now. If Haynes King plays some more of those games,
[00:20:16] you know, they'll probably have a much better record than, you know, they may even be still
[00:20:20] in that ACC talk, which is a wild conference in itself. And now we'll get to that in a minute.
[00:20:25] I got, I got a section laid out for standing talks. Yeah. Looking up at this TV, man, these
[00:20:32] are quarterbacks tonight throwing interception after interception, six interceptions. Is that
[00:20:38] like the third, as I say, that has been three interceptions in the past three drives now? Right.
[00:20:44] Yeah. Yeah. Just pick after pick. No one's seeing anything. Jeez. Yeah. This, this will now make a
[00:20:50] second straight bowl appearance for Georgia tech. Now eligible again, man. Uh, they got it right with him,
[00:20:58] man. Cause that's a tough program to win at. It's one of those, the academic restrictions,
[00:21:05] but it's like Tulane where you're in such a great talent bed for football. Or we talked about like
[00:21:12] somewhere like Houston, where you might have academic restrictions that make it a little tougher,
[00:21:17] but there's just so much talent there that you can find smart guys play football too. Uh, right.
[00:21:23] You just have to get the right, right coach in there. They can take advantage of that with,
[00:21:27] and understand that you can still succeed with those restrictions. And it seems like they got the
[00:21:32] right guy in there. I mean, too, you know, the most, and then on the other side, man, Miami boy,
[00:21:40] Georgia tech, you killed them last year with that fumble. And then now they're just like, geez.
[00:21:48] Oh man. Yeah. And you mentioned it, George, they got NC state. They get a buy next week. The,
[00:21:54] the yellow jackets do, and they get an NC state home game on a Thursday night. And then they,
[00:21:58] then they go to Athens. And does that, is that actually going to be a game this year that it was
[00:22:03] last year and when, and Georgia was a much better team last year,
[00:22:11] was it like a, went to touchdown game last week? So, you know, I'm who knows how that goes.
[00:22:17] And, you know, if they, especially, you know, Georgia loses a Tennessee, you know, at that point,
[00:22:22] and that's the thing, you know, these players, it's all about the playoffs. So once you're out of that
[00:22:26] playoff, you know, mentally things change for a lot of people. So, you know, especially if you
[00:22:33] were supposed to be the big dog and then you're not in it. Yeah. I mean, that's one, the Georgia tech,
[00:22:38] it might, yeah, might be a, another loss depending on, you know, what happens going into that game
[00:22:44] for sure. But yeah, so that's a three and four go down, uh, just big happenings here. You know,
[00:22:50] we'll see what happens with that Tuesday, but elsewhere, Indiana 10, Indiana now, man,
[00:22:56] 10 and keep going 10 and 0 first time in school history. They've won 10 games. That's amazing. Um,
[00:23:03] if there, if Kurt Cignetti is not the unanimous coach of the year, then something is wrong.
[00:23:09] Nobody else should really be even on that list. Oh, yes. And there are other guys doing great jobs
[00:23:14] out there, but no, nobody, nobody should even be in contention. You shouldn't even think about
[00:23:20] anybody else. I don't care if they can, they can lose their next two games. I don't care.
[00:23:25] Yeah, exactly. And the thing is too, though, I mean, if he had, you know, if he had went seven
[00:23:31] and five this year, he'd probably still be in that talk. Cause that'd been a hell of a job going
[00:23:34] to Indiana, getting to them bowl game in year one after how bad it was last year and such.
[00:23:40] But the fact that they're 10 and 0 and yeah, they, you know, it was a little tougher against,
[00:23:45] uh, Michigan, but Michigan is still the prideful program. And so you knew that they were going to,
[00:23:50] you know, they didn't let it get out of hand there. Um, but man, that game in two weeks is
[00:23:57] going to be huge. I really, I mean, I don't necessarily, I don't know what's going to happen
[00:24:03] in Columbus, but main thing I hope for is that even if they do lose, if they hold their own,
[00:24:10] I don't want to see them get slaughtered or anything like that for people to better see
[00:24:14] they finally played somebody and you know, there's some people that are leery about Indiana.
[00:24:21] And I, I don't, I mean, I'm kind of on that bandwagon of, I mean, I think they're a great
[00:24:26] team. I think they have a chance to beat Ohio state. I don't know if they do it's in Columbus,
[00:24:31] but I mean, Ohio state is great, but they're not, it's not, they're not, you know,
[00:24:38] they're teams. Yeah. There is no elite team this year.
[00:24:44] No, there is no team that just that far and away better than everyone else. Uh, and yeah,
[00:24:50] uh, Ohio state or excuse me, Indiana is not going to be afraid of a high state. They don't care
[00:24:55] that it's a horseshoe. They don't care how loud those fans are. This might be ready. It is another
[00:25:02] interception in this line. It's Texans. What is going on? That's that was that seven on the day.
[00:25:07] I think that's like five for, this is like, like a Madden game between two 10 year olds and
[00:25:14] they're just running verts and just chucking it up there, man. Uh, what are they looking at?
[00:25:19] This is wild. Yes. Five, five. That was golf's fifth pick of the night.
[00:25:27] Fifth pick. Yeah. Good. This is just wild. Like he better off handing off the Gibbs right there.
[00:25:32] Yeah. Oh man. Wait, got even close. No one's on the same page at all here. Wow.
[00:25:42] That's insane. Uh, one, we will say one thing, no, a pass that was not an interception tonight.
[00:25:48] It was a touchdown to John Mechie, his first career touchdown. Um, after all, after all his,
[00:25:55] yeah, after all his trials, tribulations, you know, the injury, his what? Like second to last game
[00:25:59] in college and having a fight. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Missed his whole rookie season with
[00:26:05] cancer beat that. And you just never know how that's going to go. So unpredictable cancer.
[00:26:11] Yeah. Yeah. That's just an amazing story. It's great to see. First play after this interception
[00:26:16] run. Uh, yeah. Yeah. Keep it on the ground, please. They're showing the stats now. It is not
[00:26:22] pretty for either of these quarterbacks right now. But Jared golf, eight or 20 and five
[00:26:27] interceptions. Almost that many picks as, um, completions. Wow. And they're still in the
[00:26:33] game. It's only a 10 point game. Yeah. That's a wild part. But yeah, going back to college
[00:26:39] here. Uh, yeah. Great job. Indiana BYU, another undefeated team that stayed undefeated. They
[00:26:44] survived the Holy war late Saturday night. Wow. Uh, controversial call. They might, they might,
[00:26:52] they might be on the football fans. Oh wow. They quit. They hold it. Oh, they were pissed.
[00:26:58] Yeah. Yeah. Did you see the, uh, the Utah AD came out in his press conference and lit into
[00:27:04] the big 12 refs and, uh, he'll probably get fined for it. I imagine. But he, uh, made,
[00:27:10] he made no bones about, he thought it was a bullshit call. And, uh, he basically said that
[00:27:16] they did it on purpose to keep BYU undefeated. Uh, yeah. Yeah. I mean, if you're a Utah fan,
[00:27:24] absolutely. You feel that way. But at the same token, and you know, it is bullshit, you
[00:27:30] know, tough for them, tough way, but at the same token, you had your chance to stop them
[00:27:34] after that. So, and they didn't, and BYU went down, got the game, win a field goal,
[00:27:39] still unbeaten. Uh, also still unbeaten. Army went into Denton in North Texas and
[00:27:45] that's a good win. It was a good win. They are a good team is a tough win, like 20 to
[00:27:51] three, you know, they didn't really super light it up, but a win is a win for the
[00:27:57] black Knights of the Hudson, uh, two teams that lost their first games last week and
[00:28:02] Iowa state and Pitt lost again. So wheels kind of start to come off there. Uh, I was
[00:28:08] state got just wrecked. They were playing Kansas in Arrowhead stadium and that their
[00:28:13] defense just, Kansas did whatever they wanted. I mean, that was one of the, my, I had, I was
[00:28:20] state in the column. I saw that, you know, they're only laying three points. I was like,
[00:28:24] Oh, Iowa state will bounce back. Kansas having a real bad year. That's easy money. And Kansas
[00:28:31] did whatever they wanted to do in offense yesterday. This is the Kansas that, this is the Kansas that we saw the last couple of years on the offensive side that was missing this year.
[00:28:41] Yeah. That would be better late than never, but damn. Yeah. It was, uh, the main thing with them is Jalen Daniels. Yeah. Absolutely. A lot of turnovers. He didn't have that yesterday.
[00:28:56] Yeah. Yeah. They were just all over. Yeah. And 45 points on the, you know, come into that game. The Cyclones had a pretty good, I thought it was a pretty good defensive unit there. I mean, they clearly hadn't given up many points all season. I mean, even in their loss last week, I mean, no, yeah, that's just wild.
[00:29:17] But, um, yeah. Else. Yeah. Else were around the country. Top 25. Just real quick. Oregon, uh, easy win over Maryland, Ohio state, easy win over Purdue, uh, Texas, easy win over Florida, Penn state, easy win over Washington, Tennessee, easy win over Mississippi state.
[00:29:35] Yeah. Notre Dame. Good Lord. Just wrecked Florida state. Uh, who today, Florida state fired their offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, running backs coach, wide receiver coach. Okay. Yeah.
[00:29:46] Um, Jesus. Yeah. Just cleaning house. Things are getting ugly. Uh, Ashton Jinty, another 200 yard game, even though if it was closer than what you've been. Oh, wow. That was another game I lost yesterday. I thought you would wreck them, but, uh, yeah.
[00:30:05] Yeah. Uh, you know, we mentioned, uh, Pitt went down too. They lost at home to Virginia. Uh, not a good loss. Colorado keeps winning. Uh, we talked about what the tough one would be down 13, nothing after
[00:30:16] the first quarter in Lubbock and you're like, Oh, and then the rest of the game, 41 points or the next. Yeah. That's the, that's the, what I missed out there. Cause I, I thought maybe they would win the game, but I thought in Lubbock, November, we've seen crazy things in Lubbock in November. Their head coach actually has a pretty good record in November games there. Um, so the plus four and a half, I thought, well, you know, tech might be able to hang with that. It looked good for a minute, but yeah, Colorado, I mean, they're just sitting prime.
[00:30:46] Second right there. I mean, they're, they got, they controlled on destiny for the big 12 title game.
[00:30:53] And you know, I don't want to see, I don't want to see a Colorado farm BYU, especially on a neutral field.
[00:31:01] Yeah. Oh yeah. You mentioned it. I don't know if you're, if you're a host of any first round playoff games. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know if you want to see Colorado in the playoff either.
[00:31:10] Cause they have, cause they're going to be confident. They have nothing to lose house money. I mean,
[00:31:19] yeah. Um, so if it weren't, if it weren't, but I mean, they just have to handle business. Yeah. Yeah. They still got business to take care of.
[00:31:27] I mean, the rest of the games are very manageable. Utah at home at Kansas, Oklahoma state, all winnable games.
[00:31:34] Does it matter? Can they finish out very winnable games? Yeah. If it weren't for Kirk signety in Indiana, uh, you know,
[00:31:41] Dion might be up there for coach of the year. Um, consideration certainly, uh, maybe even big 12,
[00:31:48] although, uh, Kalani Sataki at BYU deserves all the praise too, but, uh, elsewhere, let's see Washington
[00:31:54] state. Another big win as they improved to eight and one cleansing got their first win over a team with a winning
[00:32:00] record as they beat Virginia tech and black. Um, that was another, other one, seven, nothing at
[00:32:06] halftime. Virginia tech blocked a kick to skin score. It looks like the Utah ID got a $40,000.
[00:32:12] Yeah. Oh, 40,000. Okay. Yeah. I'll do it. And then, uh, that's not too bad. But yeah,
[00:32:19] I was a good win for Clemson or, uh, is that who you're saying? Yeah. I mean, for them to come back,
[00:32:30] cover. Yeah. I mean, for them to bounce back. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, for them to bounce back like
[00:32:35] that, I mean, I thought it'd be interesting, you know, um, see how they bounce back after that
[00:32:41] self loss. I mean, they have no business. Yeah, for sure. And then, uh, quarterback, Missouri,
[00:32:49] uh, old big eight rivalry renewed with Oklahoma and they, uh, wild fourth quarter there,
[00:32:56] uh, a scoop and score real late, like under a minute left, uh, to take the lead on the Sooners.
[00:33:03] Oklahoma's just disastrous first season. The sec continues. Yeah. Uh, really? I think that was
[00:33:09] the last chance for six. Hmm. Yeah. The schedule does them no favors the rest of the way. Um,
[00:33:18] but yeah, uh, uh, mentioned that I wanted to talk about our standing. So let's just
[00:33:22] real quick, just a quick snapshot of where things are at. Uh, and the ACC SMU is now all alone
[00:33:31] at the top of the standings five and Oh, and conference play Clemson and Miami, uh, both have
[00:33:38] one loss behind them. The tiebreaker for the ACC, I was looking that up today cause they do not play
[00:33:44] each other. So the next tiebreaker that Miami and Clemson would have would be records over common
[00:33:50] opponents. And I believe Miami right now holds the advantage on that. So, um, Clemson's got a tough
[00:33:59] one next week. They traveled to pit, uh, to play, you know, a pit team that's lost back back games now,
[00:34:06] but, uh, still a dangerous team. Right. Uh, it could be a big one defining who gets to the ACC title game.
[00:34:16] Big 10, uh, obviously Indiana and Oregon unbeaten at the top of the standings. They
[00:34:21] both control their destinies, uh, Ohio state, uh, and Penn state back there with one loss behind them.
[00:34:28] Obviously Ohio state owns that tiebreaker. And obviously in a couple of weeks, Ohio state and
[00:34:32] Indiana will meet. And, uh, that probably the ball's trying to control their own destiny.
[00:34:39] Yeah. The winner of that probably gets a ticket to the big 10, big 10 title game. Obviously Ohio state
[00:34:46] still has Michigan, but real down here for Michigan. Uh, Oregon may be a tricky game next week at
[00:34:51] Wisconsin night game, but Wisconsin has been so inconsistent this year. Yeah. I just didn't
[00:34:57] think they have the athletes for that game. And they'll play rival Washington in the air,
[00:35:04] but again, Washington, uh, down near this year. So, and you know, that was a pretty good win for
[00:35:09] Penn state yesterday, you know, to come off and they dominated, um, Washington. So, you know,
[00:35:16] kudos for Jane Franklin getting his team back, back in the mindset after that tough boss. And I'm,
[00:35:22] you know, of course not living in Pennsylvania. I mean, I didn't hear too much Penn state stuff,
[00:35:28] but I'm sure their local people probably lambasted them all week there. I mean,
[00:35:32] it was enough in the national guy. Imagine what their local, uh, radio shows and, um, talk with
[00:35:39] light. Uh, yeah. You know, talk radio is always just vicious, uh, big 12. We kind of talked about
[00:35:46] already BYU sitting alone at the top of the standings, uh, Colorado now alone in second place.
[00:35:51] Uh, and then you got that 14 jam behind them, Iowa state, Kansas state, Arizona state in West
[00:35:57] Virginia, a surprise went over Cincinnati yesterday. Good one yesterday for them. Hey,
[00:36:02] good one for them. And that was my third loss in the bets call. Uh, I knew it was over at
[00:36:08] Cincinnati. It was up seven. I tuned into the game. I was like, Oh, okay. And they were driving.
[00:36:12] And then, uh, their QB made one of the dumbest interceptions I've seen in a long time. He's one
[00:36:17] of those where he's getting, he scrambles backwards, like 15 yards, he's getting sacked and he just
[00:36:22] decides to chuck it up and it goes right to West Virginia players hands for a pick six.
[00:36:28] And after that, it was all Mountaineers. But that is a, uh, as a log jam, we know Iowa state,
[00:36:34] Kansas state will play at the end of the year. Uh, you know, uh, Kansas state does hold the
[00:36:42] tiebreaker over Colorado, right? They're the only ones that are the only ones.
[00:36:46] Yeah. I beat them.
[00:36:46] Hmm. But, uh, and then I think next week too, I believe let's see where I had it. Yeah. Arizona
[00:36:54] state visits, Kansas state. So that'll be, that'll create some somebody in that group right there.
[00:37:00] Yeah. Uh, and then sec standings, uh, of course now we got Tennessee is actually sitting up there.
[00:37:08] Tennessee and a and M are both five and one. Uh, of course we mentioned Tennessee's got,
[00:37:12] they got to travel to Athens next week. So we'll see. They'll know their fate right then. And then,
[00:37:18] uh, behind them at foreign one or the long horns of Texas. Right. So, uh, you know,
[00:37:25] I'm thinking, and we obviously know Texas and Texas A&M will play. So it is just up in the air.
[00:37:31] Who's actually going to play in the SEC title game right now, uh, because behind that group,
[00:37:37] all with two losses in conference player, Georgia, Ole Miss, Alabama, we mentioned already the
[00:37:41] tiebreakers going on there, or at least for Georgia and Missouri. Yeah. Missouri and LSU both have two
[00:37:47] losses. Uh, so, uh, you know, we have the tiebreaker over both of them. Yeah. So Alabama is good there
[00:37:54] because they have tiebreakers over Missouri, LSU and Georgia. Um, obviously if Tennessee were to fall
[00:37:59] down, Alabama does not have that tiebreaker, but man, it was just crazy. It was just crazy.
[00:38:07] It's just a wild year. And you know, honestly, you know, on Saturday, when I, when I was thinking for,
[00:38:16] for Alabama purposes, what's better for Alabama? Is it better for Georgia to win to give Tennessee
[00:38:21] that second loss or is it better for Tennessee when, you know, I never want to see Tennessee
[00:38:26] win anything, but just for the record sake, you know, it might be better for Tennessee to continue
[00:38:31] that, uh, give Georgia another loss just to get a team out of the, out of the picture.
[00:38:37] Mm-hmm. Yeah. Um, yeah, at least in that sense, but I mean, I'm good either, either way, you know,
[00:38:44] the Tennessee loss never hurts anybody, but yeah, if you're, if you're an Alabama fan right now,
[00:38:48] you just went out. That's, that's, we just, we just went out because I have faith 10 and two gets in.
[00:38:54] Yeah. Yeah. I think 10 and two with, uh, the wins, uh, win over Georgia, uh, yeah, that South Carolina
[00:39:03] win is going to look better if, if they keep winning, they had a big win at Vandy yesterday.
[00:39:08] And probably the best one over Vandy all season. Yeah, for sure. Um, but yeah, it's just going to be,
[00:39:16] uh, a great November, a great end to this season. And then just real quick too, to go through the,
[00:39:22] uh, the group of five, if you look, you know, obviously Boise is probably the leading candidate
[00:39:26] to get that bid right now. Uh, surprising Colorado state also unbeaten in mountain West play right
[00:39:32] now. Um, and you know, the Rams there, they do have three losses in the year. None of them are in
[00:39:37] conference, but their losses are Texas, Colorado, and Oregon state. So it's not bad losses.
[00:39:42] That's a good team. And they, their schedules kind of set up for them. You know, they got Wyoming,
[00:39:48] a team that's, you know, down here for them. Fresno state team that's kind of meh this year.
[00:39:53] And then a struggling Utah state team, uh, the Rams may find themselves unbeaten. Yeah.
[00:39:59] Yeah. They don't play, uh, Boise or UNLV. That's huge for them. Everyone's talking about,
[00:40:05] yeah, the Boise UNLV rematch. If the Rams don't have business, yeah, they might score.
[00:40:10] We don't see that. Wow. Um, but, uh, let's see what going on else. Uh, the American,
[00:40:15] of course we know army is there two lanes still unbeaten in conference play there as well. Uh,
[00:40:20] green wave just keep rolling, man. Great program there. They actually play,
[00:40:25] I think I had that they visit Navy next week, big game for them. Cause Navy is right behind them in
[00:40:30] the standings. Um, it's still a possibility that we get two army Navy games, one in the American
[00:40:39] championship and then one in just the usual army Navy game. I agree.
[00:40:44] That would be great.
[00:40:46] Wild, uh, conference USA, Western Kentucky unbeaten at the top of the standings. Also unbeaten
[00:40:53] Jacksonville state, man, rich rod boys. After that, Oh, and three started one six in a row.
[00:40:59] Five great conference. Uh, uh, just the absolute wildest ending of the night. Uh, yesterday,
[00:41:05] uh, they were beaten up on Louisiana tech tech tech came back, got the lead. Jacksonville state
[00:41:10] threw a hail Mary into the game. They just need the extra point to win, miss the extra point.
[00:41:17] And then one in overtime, uh, just absolutely insane.
[00:41:21] Absolutely.
[00:41:23] Uh, well, yeah, crazy. Their sunbelt, you got, you know, their only division or the only conference
[00:41:30] still with divisions, uh, the raging Cajuns of Louisiana unbeaten in conference play leading
[00:41:36] the West. And then you got Georgia Southern and Marshall, uh, both four and one there in the East.
[00:41:41] Uh, and then your Mac, you got a four way tie at the top of the Mac standings right now with Miami,
[00:41:47] Ohio, Ohio, Bowling Green and Western Michigan.
[00:41:51] And I believe on Tuesday, I think Bowling Green and Western Michigan play. If I have that right,
[00:41:59] a little matching this week. And then, uh, what other game for next week, just to look ahead that
[00:42:05] schedule again, you know, obviously, I mean, look at Bowling Green too. I mean, remember the first of
[00:42:10] the season, they gave Penn state and them everything they wanted. They did. They did Bowling Green,
[00:42:16] man. Looking back like the, uh, was it Omar Jacobs? Is that his name back in the day?
[00:42:20] Oh man. Yeah. Yeah. The beginning of Mac-tion back in the day.
[00:42:25] Exactly. And it's crazy though that, you know, after all the, the thing, you know, Northern Illinois
[00:42:31] with that, that, that's one of those games now you're looking more at that. Like, how did that
[00:42:37] ever happen? Them beating, um, Notre Dame? Just like for, how did that even happen? Because
[00:42:43] they have not done anything really since two and three in their Mac, five and four overall,
[00:42:48] you know, probably just while just week by week, how wild things are. Cause it makes no sense.
[00:42:56] Yeah. That continues to be the, the, the most shocking loss of the year so far. Yeah. Um,
[00:43:03] but yeah. And then, uh, of course next week we mentioned Tennessee, Georgia, Clemson at Pitt,
[00:43:08] uh, Missouri visit South Carolina and all of a sudden becomes a very interesting game. The SEC
[00:43:14] race, uh, for, you know, some bowl position, at least neither team really has a shot at the playoff,
[00:43:19] but, uh, should be a good game. Uh, Texas visits old rival Arkansas. Fayetteville will be rocking
[00:43:26] there. Um, yeah. Um, you know, honestly, they might need that though because, you know, as, as,
[00:43:37] as, as well as things were going for a while there, I'm, I'm thinking there's some grumblings going on
[00:43:45] in Fairville just for those losses they've taken, you know, giving up that many points to both LSU and
[00:43:52] Ole Miss at home like that. And then, I don't know. It's certainly, you, you at least probably at least
[00:44:01] won't, uh, make it a game to compete. Yeah. Make it a game. Don't roll over for them. Uh, you know,
[00:44:07] they'll be hyped, you know, the crowd will be loud. They, they, they, they, no love lost between those two
[00:44:11] programs. Yeah. That's 11 o'clock on ABC next week too. So that's going to be nice and early in that sun.
[00:44:18] Uh, but yeah, outside of that, you know, right now, Arkansas sitting at five and four, they got
[00:44:24] Louisiana tech the week after, so they could probably get there to get back to a bowl.
[00:44:29] And then they end the season at Missouri and then, you know, obviously we know this year. So, uh, seven wins,
[00:44:35] not a possible, like you said, yeah, if you're Sam Pittman, you, you got to compete. If this is
[00:44:40] another blowout, then maybe, yeah, maybe things start rumbling and grumbling again. Um, but yeah,
[00:44:48] it's another one of those, there's only the one huge marquee game, but then there's all these other
[00:44:53] tricky games. There's a bunch of interesting games out there. Yeah. Yeah. Some we mentioned, but,
[00:44:58] uh, yeah, anything else in the college gridiron you want to talk about before we move to the pros?
[00:45:04] Um, what was it? No, not really. I mean, I guess just, uh, yeah, I mean, we had mentioned
[00:45:10] about FSU firing everybody, but, but Mike Norville. So that'd be interesting, which basically
[00:45:16] is his sentence of, Hey, get it together next year. You're out yourself. You know, pretty
[00:45:20] much dead man walking is what that means when you got to change your whole coaching staff.
[00:45:24] So, um, other coaching news too. Yeah. It looks like, uh, Kennesaw States coach, uh, will step
[00:45:34] down after they fell to one in eight in their first year in FBS. But it's just like, uh, but
[00:45:40] I mean, it's such a big move up. They got the big win a couple of weeks ago. Like, I mean,
[00:45:46] I'm assuming he's getting fired more than he's stepping down. I'm sure it's a mutual team.
[00:45:50] So it's just kind of crazy. He's got a, you know, he's been there 10 years. He's got
[00:45:54] a 72 and 38 record. Uh, they won like what four or they made the playoffs. I think four
[00:46:01] straight years in their last four years in the FCS. Yeah. Um, so yeah, unfortunate for
[00:46:07] him, you know, uh, Brian Bohannon's his name, but, uh, is what it is. But what are the expectations
[00:46:15] of Kennesaw State really supposed to be? Exactly. At this level, you know, it takes you time to
[00:46:21] adjust, you know? So, and then, uh, I guess that the other thing coaching wise is that Florida
[00:46:27] did announce this week that Billy will be coming back. He did enough. And yeah, I think so too.
[00:46:34] Cause you, I know you don't know who, you know, what names you're going to get to come there.
[00:46:39] You know, especially now, you know, Lane gets that big win over Georgia. We've talked about
[00:46:43] how he might, me might be happy in Oxford there and not want to go to a pressure cooker
[00:46:47] like Gainesville. Uh, cause yeah, I mean, yeah, Lane is in a good spot just because if he makes
[00:46:57] a playoff every couple of the years or in that contention, I mean, I think that's good
[00:47:01] enough in Oxford. It may not be good enough in Gainesville, but yeah, I mean, I think that
[00:47:07] they're kind of in that mindset that we talk about all the time. Unless you're guaranteed to
[00:47:13] have better, why, why make a move that could set you back another three, four years of doing the
[00:47:17] same thing? You know, especially, especially with DJ Lagway getting injured, they've seen
[00:47:23] what potential he has. So if he comes back healthy next year, they get a decent class in
[00:47:28] there, maybe get some good transfers. Is he done for the season or is he? I'm not sure. I don't think
[00:47:34] I've seen anything on that, but they might be cautious with him. I wouldn't be surprised if they were
[00:47:43] kind of a, I mean, I wouldn't say lost cause. I mean, you still want to put your best out there,
[00:47:47] but if he's not healthy, I'm not, I'm not putting him up there against, uh, what they said,
[00:47:51] Ole Miss and LSU on the schedule. I'm not, I mean, I'm not risking further problems unless he,
[00:48:00] you know, November, as well, you know, we say November healthy because no one's healthy fully
[00:48:05] in college football. So yeah. Um, no, yeah. You mentioned Florida's, they have a host LSU
[00:48:13] next week, host LSU after that. And then they go to Tallahassee then the season. Can't lose
[00:48:18] that game. Can that be close. Like you have to handle that business. I don't care who's playing
[00:48:26] quarterback. That might, that might, they might say Billy. Yeah. That might, that might change some
[00:48:34] minds if you lose that one, especially because it would be a third straight loss to your rival.
[00:48:39] Yeah. So you can't do that. No. Uh, and then I guess one more thing before we move on, uh,
[00:48:45] Dylan Gabriel, uh, Oregon set the NCAA record with total for total touchdowns. He now has 179 total
[00:48:52] touchdowns in his career passing case Keenum, the old Houston quarterback. Um,
[00:49:00] so congratulations to him. I still don't think he really belongs in the Heisman race. Uh,
[00:49:06] uh, but then, then again, who knows the cam Ward? I mean, even the, the loss wasn't cam Ward's fault.
[00:49:12] He still bought out yesterday over like three 60 yards, a couple of touchdowns, no picks. Yeah. Um,
[00:49:18] Ashton Jinty, obviously there and Travis Hunter will be there. You know, Dylan Gabriel deserves a
[00:49:25] invite, but I think he's mostly there right now because he's the quarterback of the number one
[00:49:31] team in the country. They're winning games, but I mean, he's, he's consistent and that's, but you
[00:49:38] know, uh, I don't know. He would much rather, he much rather have that national championship than
[00:49:45] Yeah, for sure. Uh, but, uh, good for the man because I mean, hell he's been in college or
[00:49:51] he's literally a pre COVID guy. He's been playing that long. Yeah.
[00:49:56] Where, where did he, he started where was it? Was it Oklahoma's first or did this, did he even
[00:50:03] transfer to Oklahoma? I thought he transferred to Oklahoma from somewhere. UCF. That's right. Yeah.
[00:50:09] He started his career in UCF. That's right. He started with the Western name. Yeah.
[00:50:12] Yeah. Yeah. Uh,
[00:50:15] Huh. So yeah, he's been in college forever. Or maybe not. Was that?
[00:50:20] Oh, he would have been with us. Oh, he would have been with us. Josh Heupel.
[00:50:26] Yeah. He would have been with Heupel. Yeah. But, uh, one of those career college players,
[00:50:32] but, uh, yeah, let's move on to the pros real quick today. Uh, interesting week started Thursday
[00:50:37] with just another classic between the Ravens and Bengals, man. That.
[00:50:43] That's just guaranteed to have everything you want to see in a game. Right.
[00:50:47] But I know you have been sweating at the end there.
[00:50:50] Uh, and it's, it's an average. I think every Ravens fan online said some form of this defense,
[00:50:58] the secondary is going to cost Lamar a super bowl this year. Uh, cause Lamar, once again,
[00:51:03] great game, uh, did everything he could do that nice, the great clutch play down 21 seven. And then
[00:51:10] the big play, Marlon Humphrey, man stripped, uh, chase Brown and, uh, you know, Ravens jumped on
[00:51:18] the ball and then all of a sudden they reeled off 21 straight points, took that lead. And then I,
[00:51:24] I looked at the stats. Jamar chase has now played, I think 10 career games against the Ravens. He has
[00:51:29] almost a thousand yards in those games. Just insane. Uh, Joe Burrow and Jamar chase ended a
[00:51:37] bunch of fantasy matchups on Thursday night. Uh, I know there's a guy that just gave it up.
[00:51:47] If you had both of them, you probably, you could have benched everybody else and still won. Uh,
[00:51:56] but yeah, just another crazy game and Bengals fans and have some gripes about the two point play.
[00:52:02] Uh, as far as the face mask, yeah, it looks like they might've missed a face mask on that.
[00:52:06] As far as the, some people claim defensive holding on that game. Nah, I'll tell you this right now.
[00:52:12] Mike is a sec. He is a whiny little bitch. Uh, he looks for a flag after every incompletion. Uh,
[00:52:18] most of the Bengals receivers doing that was actually really annoying, but you know,
[00:52:21] Jamar chase can do that because the Ravens have never stopped him. So it might legit be a shock to
[00:52:26] him if he doesn't catch a pass. Uh, exactly. But Mike Gusecki, every play, he was looking for a flag
[00:52:33] if he didn't catch it. And it just got, and I do wonder if that the refs might've had that in their
[00:52:39] head. They might've been like, whatever. But, uh, I looked at the replay and I, he made this kind of
[00:52:43] move. I don't think it was a hold. I did think they missed a face mask, but regardless of that,
[00:52:47] uh, you blew a 14 point lead and don't have much to say there.
[00:52:53] You gave a 21 fourth quarter. I mean, Hey, yeah. Yeah. Um, but it was just crazy. Yeah. As soon as
[00:53:01] they, the Ravens took back that lead and then they hit burrow hit chase on that 70 yard touchdown.
[00:53:06] I was just like, ah, not this shit again. But then, uh, took them right back down the field,
[00:53:13] scored. And then Cincinnati went right back down the field. And, uh, I saw some people
[00:53:18] questioning and going for two there. I would've why not? Yeah. The defense hadn't proven you could
[00:53:22] stop now. Why the ball didn't go towards chase is another, that's the question. But yeah, I mean,
[00:53:28] are you, I mean, you're sitting at four and six. I mean, yeah, I mean you, why not? I mean,
[00:53:36] everything have all the momentum in the world, right? I mean, just went up the field ridiculous.
[00:53:42] Just, just been slaughtering the Raven defense all game, but you can't stop the Ravens either.
[00:53:48] So yeah. Why, why not? I mean, exactly. That's why you do it. Because if you looked at it,
[00:53:55] it was like the Ravens had just scored. I think they scored touchdowns in their last four drives.
[00:53:59] So you're not stopping them. You're not stopping you, but at the same time you've, you know,
[00:54:05] he's probably thinking if we lose that coin toss, we're probably not getting a chance to get the ball.
[00:54:10] So yeah. So no, I mean, I, it's one of those things, of course,
[00:54:15] you're always going to question if it doesn't go your way, but you know, it's one of those ones.
[00:54:21] I might as well. I mean, you're not losing anything really there. I mean,
[00:54:26] no, I think it's where I call, like you said, they were what four and five,
[00:54:29] I think at that point. So they had a chance to go 500,
[00:54:31] a chance to get one back on their division rival.
[00:54:34] So yeah, you, you got to go for it there. Don't blame them today.
[00:54:40] The kind of a, some interesting results.
[00:54:42] The chiefs look like they would finally get beaten and then they blocked the field.
[00:54:47] As time expired, just absolutely crazy.
[00:54:51] They bull rushed that line, that left side of that line.
[00:54:54] They just murdered.
[00:54:56] It could have been like three people to have that block on that.
[00:54:58] Yeah. Yeah.
[00:54:59] They were all right.
[00:55:01] Exactly. If the guy who blocked it didn't get it, someone else was.
[00:55:04] So yeah.
[00:55:06] Um, Steelers beat the commanders.
[00:55:08] Yeah. It's, it's annoying.
[00:55:09] It's really annoying.
[00:55:12] Steelers beat the commanders and a big matchup there.
[00:55:15] Uh, they keep rolling.
[00:55:17] Of course, next week, uh, Sunday, uh, Steelers Ravens for a huge one.
[00:55:21] NFC North or excuse me, AFC North.
[00:55:24] Matchup.
[00:55:25] Uh, the bills kept on rolling today, beat the Colts.
[00:55:28] They've now, and after, you know, what three, uh, three, you know, start lost those two big games back to back.
[00:55:33] And now they've another winning streak.
[00:55:35] Uh, they are keeping pace at least for that two seed.
[00:55:40] Sure.
[00:55:41] And in case the chiefs do slip up, uh, saints fired Dennis Allen this week and then turned around, broke their losing streak.
[00:55:48] The Falcons today.
[00:55:49] Yeah.
[00:55:50] That's got the Falcons.
[00:55:51] That's a bad loss for them.
[00:55:52] I mean, this is your time to completely dominate your rival.
[00:55:58] I understand it was a new Orleans, but man, you know, you're, you're starting to pull away from the division.
[00:56:07] The bucks are hurt.
[00:56:08] The saints are down.
[00:56:09] They just tried to coach.
[00:56:10] You don't know where they're at.
[00:56:11] I understand it was in the super dome, but still you got, that's the type of game.
[00:56:15] I mean, if you're a true contender, I want to show that you're different this year than other Falcons teams.
[00:56:21] No one's still taking you very seriously.
[00:56:23] I really expect you to blow some.
[00:56:24] This is your chance to really show, hey, they won today.
[00:56:29] They would have been, you know, shown, but yeah, still the, still the, the Falcons.
[00:56:35] Yeah.
[00:56:37] What's his face.
[00:56:38] A kicker coup.
[00:56:39] I believe he missed three kicks today.
[00:56:40] I think.
[00:56:41] Yeah.
[00:56:42] Uh, just rough day for him.
[00:56:44] And then especially they were gifted an opportunity late.
[00:56:47] They, uh, were out of timeouts and the saints could have, you know, they had that, was it like a third and seven?
[00:56:53] So they could have just run the ball, run out the clockers and let the clock wind down and they would have got the punt it in.
[00:56:59] And then the Falcons would have got the ball back with, uh, like maybe 20 seconds or something crazy, but they decided they split Alvin Kamara out.
[00:57:10] He slipped through was wide ass open and dropped it.
[00:57:14] Uh, pass it for what he would have scored, sealed the game right there.
[00:57:17] So the Falcons got their opportunity with about a minute left and couldn't do it.
[00:57:21] So, um,
[00:57:23] And then, but yeah, three missed kicks.
[00:57:25] That's me.
[00:57:27] That's rough.
[00:57:27] Who is turning one of the better kickers in the league to miss three?
[00:57:31] And a don't.
[00:57:32] Just an off day for him.
[00:57:33] Yeah.
[00:57:34] And a don't.
[00:57:34] Off day for him.
[00:57:35] Uh, our boy Bryce Young got a win today.
[00:57:38] Got a win.
[00:57:38] For the Panthers in Germany.
[00:57:40] It was ugly, but a win is a win is a win.
[00:57:43] Yeah.
[00:57:43] Uh, speaking of ugly now, the Bears starting to struggle.
[00:57:46] Ugly lost today to the Patriots.
[00:57:48] Dominant.
[00:57:49] 19-3.
[00:57:50] Hey, you know, the bad thing for Caleb Williams, he's lost both of the games.
[00:57:53] The other rookie quarterbacks that won that first round.
[00:57:56] So now everybody's looking at him like, yeah.
[00:57:57] And it's something like, I think the Bears now, I forgot the stat now.
[00:58:00] I think it's something like 40 straight drives, 28, something like that without a touchdown now for that Bears offense.
[00:58:07] But 19-3, that's, I guess, no evil.
[00:58:10] That's tough.
[00:58:11] That's tough.
[00:58:12] Yeah.
[00:58:12] Uh, Christian McCaffrey comes back today.
[00:58:15] And the Niners get a great win in Tampa Bay.
[00:58:19] Yeah.
[00:58:20] Um, uh, see Vikings and Jaguars played, uh, Mack Jones.
[00:58:25] Poor Mack.
[00:58:25] He had a chance today, but he, uh, fumbled a late snap and then threw a late interception.
[00:58:31] Uh, the Vikings get a big road win for them.
[00:58:35] Mm-hmm.
[00:58:36] Uh, and the Eagles, uh, yeah, big, big win over your Cowboys.
[00:58:41] I don't know.
[00:58:41] The only thing I'm upset about is that they didn't get Barkley or, uh, Devontae a touchdown.
[00:58:47] And my fantasy team probably lose of it because Lamar is the only one that showed up for me this week.
[00:58:52] Oh, yeah.
[00:58:53] Uh, that's right.
[00:58:54] It's such an ugly, ugly game for Dallas.
[00:58:56] I mean, the fact, meaning the fact that it was, what, seven to six at the halftime.
[00:59:03] And if it had to be the second half, it was just so ridiculous.
[00:59:08] Is it, did they officially announce Dak out for the year?
[00:59:11] Yeah, he's out for the year.
[00:59:12] Yeah.
[00:59:12] Yeah, out for the year.
[00:59:14] And, uh, yeah, the quarterback play was abysmal today.
[00:59:18] We bet everybody played and everybody was terrible.
[00:59:21] Um, the defense held their own in the first half.
[00:59:24] But, yeah, the second half got ugly.
[00:59:26] I think, uh, so I was listening to the, so I wanted to go pick up some stuff from Target.
[00:59:33] So next time I just joined the Cowboy Network or whatever, because I hear those guys anyway sometimes over the TV.
[00:59:39] Um, but between the time that I, and Target's maybe five, two minutes from my house, there was two, a pick and two fumbles for the Cowboys.
[00:59:52] Hmm.
[00:59:54] By the time I went to Target and came back, then it was just a pickup order.
[00:59:58] Yeah.
[00:59:58] Oh, speaking of fumble.
[01:00:00] Oh, Houston almost had another come over there.
[01:00:03] Wow.
[01:00:04] Oh.
[01:00:04] That was a little second behind you there.
[01:00:06] Wow.
[01:00:07] That ball was fine.
[01:00:08] Man, this game is, uh, oof.
[01:00:11] It looked like Houston was, it looked like Houston was going to run through them.
[01:00:16] No, but now you had, the Lions scored.
[01:00:18] They're only down three now.
[01:00:19] Three now.
[01:00:20] Despite the five interceptions.
[01:00:23] What?
[01:00:24] Did the lineman try to take the ball from?
[01:00:26] What the hell were going right there?
[01:00:27] It looked like it, didn't it?
[01:00:29] It looked like he, it looked like that.
[01:00:30] He was trying to take it and run with it.
[01:00:32] He stripped his own quarterback.
[01:00:34] Oh, wow.
[01:00:35] What are you doing?
[01:00:36] So, now that's a, that's a punt, man.
[01:00:40] Detroit will fall back with a chance to tie or take the lead.
[01:00:43] Wow.
[01:00:43] This is an insane game, man.
[01:00:46] Uh, run away from the ball.
[01:00:48] Peter, Peter.
[01:00:49] Uh, but yeah, uh, so yeah, just a rough season for your Cowboys gets rougher.
[01:00:54] Yeah, I mean, uh, the only, the only games I think we have a chance in is I think we have
[01:00:59] Carolina and we have the Giants on the schedule.
[01:01:02] Other than that, I don't see another win.
[01:01:04] Other than that, keep, keep losing and get that better draft pick, right?
[01:01:08] I know, just keep losing.
[01:01:10] Uh, and then, uh, let's see one more result of one look at.
[01:01:13] Oh, the Cardinals, big win for them, man.
[01:01:15] Blow out the Jets today.
[01:01:17] Just, hmm.
[01:01:18] It's, it's not happening for the Jets.
[01:01:20] They're now three and seven.
[01:01:21] It doesn't matter what they did, who they brought in.
[01:01:24] Like, this is bad.
[01:01:26] Mm-hmm.
[01:01:27] Yeah.
[01:01:28] Uh, yeah, now you look at, you know, the stand, of course, there's a Monday night game tomorrow,
[01:01:33] the Dolphins and the Dolphins season pretty much over.
[01:01:36] The Rams, uh, they can keep, uh, pace in the playoff race for them.
[01:01:41] Absolutely.
[01:01:42] I mean, we said, we said that, um, you know, you said that plenty of times, just how they're
[01:01:49] do their, again, they've gotten healthy, but that they're winning games.
[01:01:53] And, yeah, they're looking, they're looking good.
[01:01:56] Um, and that's, uh, I mean, that's a huge loss.
[01:01:59] And the crazy thing is, though, for the Jets, going back to that real quick, if you look at
[01:02:05] the playoff standings, they're actually only a couple games back of the Broncos for that
[01:02:09] final seed, but it's just, it's just not looking like it's going to happen.
[01:02:14] Um, no, they're, they're, yeah.
[01:02:18] Three and three and four.
[01:02:20] Yeah.
[01:02:21] Wow.
[01:02:21] It's, yeah.
[01:02:22] Uh, if you look real quick, standings playoff and the AFC, obviously Casey would be your
[01:02:27] first seed with a bye.
[01:02:29] The Bills would be your two seed.
[01:02:31] Steelers would be three.
[01:02:32] Houston, four.
[01:02:33] Baltimore, five.
[01:02:34] Chargers, your sixth seed right there.
[01:02:36] Jim Harbaugh doing his thing first year.
[01:02:38] And then the Broncos would be your seven.
[01:02:40] Uh, we did mention Ravens Steelers next week, a huge AFC North matchup.
[01:02:47] Um, there.
[01:02:49] So, you know, that'll thing on the NFC side, Detroit right now has the lead for that one
[01:02:55] seed.
[01:02:56] I don't know what tiebreaker would come to effect if they lose tonight.
[01:03:01] Uh, Phillies, the two seed as it stands right now, the Falcons would be your three seed.
[01:03:05] The Cardinals actually lead in the NFC West right now.
[01:03:09] They'd be your four seed.
[01:03:10] Wow.
[01:03:11] That's just crazy.
[01:03:12] The seven and two Vikings would be the fifth seed.
[01:03:15] The commanders would be the sixth seed and the Packers would be your seventh seed right
[01:03:18] now.
[01:03:19] Uh, that's, that's a heat.
[01:03:21] That's a much better race for that last spot.
[01:03:24] Oh, yeah.
[01:03:24] The NFC is much deeper this year because behind the Packers right there, you get Sam Fran,
[01:03:29] which, you know, is going to get better now that C-Max CMTs, uh, you got the Rams we mentioned
[01:03:34] they're getting hot.
[01:03:35] And then, uh, you got a couple cluster right there with the bears, you know, they're, they're
[01:03:39] starting to falter Seattle's there and they're kind of one of those up and down teams, but
[01:03:43] you know, they can get hot.
[01:03:46] And then Tampa Bay value effort again today, but those injuries to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin,
[01:03:51] I think it's just too much.
[01:03:53] That's a lot of, you know, every time I see him break off a 15, 20 yard line, I just still
[01:04:03] just still retroactively mad at fucking Bill.
[01:04:07] Cause that man could do everything.
[01:04:09] That man could do everything.
[01:04:11] He can catch out the backfield.
[01:04:13] He can run the ball.
[01:04:14] I mean, he's a, he's just a human highlight reel.
[01:04:17] Yeah, absolutely.
[01:04:19] Um, couple of big games, decent scheduled next week in the NFL Thursday night, commanders
[01:04:24] Eagles, big one in the East.
[01:04:26] Oh, wow.
[01:04:27] Nice prime time.
[01:04:28] Yeah.
[01:04:29] Thursday night started a decent job this year.
[01:04:32] Yeah.
[01:04:32] They got a good schedule going on.
[01:04:34] You know, I'm if you, they got rid of the Thursday night NFL game, I'd be completely fine
[01:04:38] with it outside of Thanksgiving games.
[01:04:40] Yeah.
[01:04:40] Um, but yeah, they, they've got a good slate.
[01:04:43] They've done a good job this year.
[01:04:44] Again, games that people might be interested in.
[01:04:48] And then, then they've been good games too, because they've had a problem in the past
[01:04:51] where there was just always a blowout, but they've been some really good games this week.
[01:04:55] Absolutely.
[01:04:56] Mentioned the Ravens and Steelers in Pittsburgh next Sunday at noon.
[01:05:01] Uh, Packers and Bears play a big one.
[01:05:04] Um, let's see where else.
[01:05:09] The Falcons visit the Broncos.
[01:05:12] Yeah.
[01:05:12] Seattle, San Francisco is interesting.
[01:05:14] Falcons visit the Broncos.
[01:05:15] Oh, there's a big one Sunday afternoon.
[01:05:18] Chiefs and Bills.
[01:05:19] Oh.
[01:05:21] Chiefs and Bills.
[01:05:22] And then you got the Sunday night game next week.
[01:05:24] Bengals and Chargers.
[01:05:25] That's all of a sudden that might be not almost an elimination game for the Bengals.
[01:05:30] You know, it wouldn't really doom them, but that's kind of a, gotta go into that.
[01:05:33] They gotta win that one.
[01:05:35] Yeah.
[01:05:36] Oh, and then look at that Monday night football.
[01:05:38] Everybody gets to watch Dallas.
[01:05:39] I'm just kidding.
[01:05:42] Unfortunate Texans visit the Cowboys for Monday night.
[01:05:45] Right.
[01:05:46] But yeah.
[01:05:47] Something tells me it's gonna be a lot of Texans fans in the stadium.
[01:05:51] Cause honestly, I don't know how Cowboy fans keep paying what the price is for tickets to sit through this shit.
[01:05:58] Like, it's wild.
[01:06:00] I don't, I don't even know how you even pay your hundred, two hundred dollars to three hundred.
[01:06:06] It would depend on what level you're on just to get in there.
[01:06:09] Knowing that you don't have really a chance of winning the game.
[01:06:11] It's wild.
[01:06:13] I'll tell you what.
[01:06:14] It's at the point for the Cowboys now.
[01:06:16] I'm reading some headlines.
[01:06:17] See if anything else.
[01:06:19] CeeDee Lamb wants the Cowboys to install curtains there.
[01:06:23] They're in those glass, those sunlights.
[01:06:26] I guess he blames the sun.
[01:06:27] Yeah.
[01:06:28] For the touchdown today.
[01:06:31] It's kind of, it is kind of dumb.
[01:06:33] I mean.
[01:06:34] I'm about to say, it is, it is a problem there.
[01:06:35] If you look at it, it's, it's one of those things, like kind of an oversight.
[01:06:39] You know, you're in Texas, you know, the time of day you play, the sun's going to be there.
[01:06:44] That's kind of, yeah, it's kind of a bad design.
[01:06:46] But, uh, if you're winning, you don't, you don't see him make that.
[01:06:51] You don't see that.
[01:06:52] No, absolutely not.
[01:06:53] But I mean, still have not won a game at home.
[01:06:56] I've not even been in a game at home.
[01:07:00] Insane.
[01:07:01] I mean, I mean, the Ravens game got close, but it shouldn't have been that close.
[01:07:05] The Ravens blew, I mean, it was ugly for 90% of that one.
[01:07:10] I mean, the Saints blew us out.
[01:07:12] You guys beat us.
[01:07:14] Detroit housed us.
[01:07:16] Eagles housed us.
[01:07:17] Like, they, this, this fan base that goes to the game every, faithfully every week, probably
[01:07:24] not seeing a, well, they might get to Thanksgiving game.
[01:07:27] But other than that, you're not seeing a win this season.
[01:07:30] That's wild.
[01:07:32] Because you're not.
[01:07:33] Today was like, what?
[01:07:35] Only the second loss versus NFC East team at home in like the past six years or something
[01:07:40] like that?
[01:07:41] We've had six straight wins against the, six straight wins against the Eagles going
[01:07:48] into today.
[01:07:51] I mean, at the halftime, it was 14 to six.
[01:07:54] I mean, defense did the heck of a job.
[01:07:58] Yeah.
[01:08:00] That was close.
[01:08:01] Detroit sneaks in, but a 58-yard field goal in this game is tied, man.
[01:08:07] Crazy game.
[01:08:07] I mean, we're only down 14 to six at the half.
[01:08:10] The defense held their own.
[01:08:12] Michael Parsons back and, you know, probably the best defensive effort we've seen all year.
[01:08:17] But this offense is abysmal.
[01:08:20] I mean, I think we had the turnovers.
[01:08:24] I think we had like five or six turnovers.
[01:08:26] And we don't have the playmakers to make up for that.
[01:08:29] Like, why don't we turn the ball over?
[01:08:32] And the thing is, it's one thing to lose games, but I saw something.
[01:08:36] Not only did Cowboys lose in games, but the most boring team in the NFL.
[01:08:41] It's not, nothing exciting.
[01:08:44] There's nothing, there's no energy.
[01:08:45] Like, this is just a terrible team.
[01:08:48] And, you know, it all starts from Jerry on down.
[01:08:51] You know, the whole thing was, he was all in this season.
[01:08:54] And the only thing we did on the trade deadline was send a fourth for the Carolina wide receiver
[01:09:00] who was having a horrible year.
[01:09:03] Like, we should be able to get him for basically free.
[01:09:06] And we gave him a fourth rounder.
[01:09:08] I mean, obviously, I mean...
[01:09:09] Which is insane when you consider that the Ravens basically got Deontay Johnson for, I think,
[01:09:14] a seventh round pick swap.
[01:09:15] Yes, from the same team.
[01:09:18] It wasn't even that, yeah, that the Ravens traded a seventh rounder for him.
[01:09:23] They got a seventh rounder back in him for a seventh rounder.
[01:09:27] So...
[01:09:27] And then, I mean...
[01:09:29] And then, yeah.
[01:09:31] I mean, KC stole, what's his name?
[01:09:34] DeAndre Hopkins.
[01:09:36] But, yeah, we gave him a fourth for a dude who has been terrible in Carolina.
[01:09:42] I mean, the front office at this point in Dallas is a joke.
[01:09:46] We did nothing in the offseason.
[01:09:49] You know, nothing at the free agency deadline.
[01:09:55] A deadline.
[01:09:56] Like, it's just...
[01:09:57] But this was supposed to be the all-in year.
[01:10:01] I guess why?
[01:10:02] I don't know.
[01:10:03] Same.
[01:10:04] Yeah.
[01:10:04] But, I mean, obviously, nothing's going to change because, I mean, people are still
[01:10:07] going to buy stuff.
[01:10:09] I mean, really, that's the only thing you can really do to maybe catch an owner, get
[01:10:15] their attention is you stop buying stuff, you stop going to games.
[01:10:18] But, unfortunately, that's never going to happen.
[01:10:20] So, I don't know what you do.
[01:10:23] I don't know.
[01:10:24] Yeah.
[01:10:25] It's a...
[01:10:26] Yeah.
[01:10:27] A tough year.
[01:10:28] And, like you said, I get the hope, the silver lining, I guess the hope for you guys.
[01:10:33] The hope for you guys.
[01:10:34] Right now, if you get a high draft pick, maybe you get someone...
[01:10:39] Whatever position you think, you know, I guess it depends on who's available.
[01:10:43] But the thing is, though, is it's not as exciting because, you know, all these quarterbacks, and
[01:10:51] we could have been in a quarterback, you know, talk.
[01:10:54] But, of course, we threw all the money to Dak.
[01:10:58] And, you know, now we're stuck with that.
[01:11:00] You know, we could have got Shador cheaper or, you know, one of these other guys cheaper
[01:11:05] and see where that goes.
[01:11:06] But now we're all in with Dak and no money going anywhere else.
[01:11:13] Yeah.
[01:11:14] Yeah.
[01:11:14] And it's not like Jerry Jones is the type of guy to blow it up and do a rebuild.
[01:11:19] It's not his style.
[01:11:21] No.
[01:11:21] So, I think we're just going to see a lot of bad...
[01:11:24] I don't see it getting any better, unfortunately.
[01:11:28] Yeah.
[01:11:28] And then...
[01:11:28] You know, people are going to leave.
[01:11:30] You know, Mike is going to leave.
[01:11:32] CD is going to leave.
[01:11:33] Like, they're going to go somewhere else.
[01:11:35] Maybe not even for the more money.
[01:11:36] They're just going to want to go somewhere to win.
[01:11:39] Yeah.
[01:11:40] And, yeah, that's a big worry, you know, in this era of, you know, player empowerment
[01:11:46] where they're demanding trades more, you know, yeah, you signed CD to that extension.
[01:11:50] But that's a contract that any team would happily take on if they need a number one guy like CD.
[01:11:55] Oh, absolutely.
[01:11:56] And then, obviously, Micah Parsons is just an absolute game changer.
[01:11:59] Yeah.
[01:12:00] On defense.
[01:12:01] I mean, he said he's...
[01:12:03] One of the best, like, five defensive players in the league.
[01:12:05] Yeah.
[01:12:05] Right.
[01:12:06] And he expressed anger, you know, even last year, you know, when we were winning games.
[01:12:10] The defense was questionable.
[01:12:12] It's crazy, too, to think, you know, the big thing has been the defense faltering at times.
[01:12:18] And now the offense doesn't even show up at all.
[01:12:21] Like, it's just, I don't know what's going on.
[01:12:23] Like, the thing is, you know, we can say, oh, you can fire Mike McCarthy, but that doesn't solve anything.
[01:12:31] And there's no guarantee he'll do that.
[01:12:33] You saw how long he held on to Jason Garrett.
[01:12:35] Exactly.
[01:12:36] They said McCarthy's safe for now, supposedly.
[01:12:39] I just saw something that came across.
[01:12:41] I mean, but I mean, I don't know if that is going to help or not.
[01:12:44] Because, honestly, who wants to come in as a coach that seriously wants to win or, you know, have some type of control with Jerry?
[01:12:57] I mean, Jerry didn't make all decisions, but it's just his mouthpiece.
[01:13:00] I mean, that would be so frustrating as a coach every week.
[01:13:04] He gives a crazy sound bite, you know.
[01:13:08] A couple weeks ago, he wanted to get the guys fired for answering the question about why he didn't, you know, drop season moves hurting you guys now.
[01:13:18] And, man, it's just wild.
[01:13:20] But, hey.
[01:13:21] Yeah.
[01:13:23] But, yeah, moving on.
[01:13:25] Just real quick, let's see.
[01:13:26] NBA season going along.
[01:13:30] The story of the week is injuries.
[01:13:32] And not just for the Ravens, or the Pelicans, excuse me, for once.
[01:13:35] Although, once again, Zion.
[01:13:38] Zion out.
[01:13:38] And hamstring injury out indefinitely.
[01:13:42] I was on top of second-year player Jordan Hawkins.
[01:13:45] He'll miss a couple weeks.
[01:13:46] He got hurt the other day.
[01:13:48] You know.
[01:13:49] It's just, it's cursed, man.
[01:13:51] I guess some bit of good news.
[01:13:53] It looks like Trey Murphy will make his season debut Monday against the Nets.
[01:14:00] So, that's good.
[01:14:01] But, like I said, it's not just the Pelicans.
[01:14:06] Ja looks like he's going to be out.
[01:14:08] He's week to week, they say, with a hip injury.
[01:14:10] KD looks like he's going to be out a couple weeks, at least, with a calf strain.
[01:14:16] Jimmy Butler's.
[01:14:17] Yeah, the Suns are playing real good ball.
[01:14:20] Jimmy Butler's got an ankle injury.
[01:14:22] He did not play in their win over the T-Wolves.
[01:14:26] Chet Holmgren had to leave Oklahoma City's game today after he had a hard fall.
[01:14:33] It just, yeah.
[01:14:34] Ooh.
[01:14:34] Like, stop getting hurt, y'all.
[01:14:39] But, my thing is, so, is it a, is it a conditioning thing?
[01:14:43] Is it a strength thing?
[01:14:45] Like.
[01:14:46] Yeah, is it just a weird, or is it just one of these weird, yeah.
[01:14:50] But, it seems like a lot of injuries keep happening in the league.
[01:14:53] And, I mean, I understand, like, things happen.
[01:14:55] But, I don't know, like, I don't know, just people just don't stand, because they know
[01:15:04] it's a, it's like people know that, hey, it's not important that if I'm healthy right
[01:15:09] now, you know, or can miss a couple weeks in November.
[01:15:13] It's about later on.
[01:15:14] And, I don't know how serious some of these injuries are, or not, you know?
[01:15:18] Who knows?
[01:15:20] Yeah, it's just an unfortunate thing to see.
[01:15:24] Nobody wants to see it.
[01:15:25] Cleveland's still undefeated on the season.
[01:15:27] Wild.
[01:15:28] Just wild.
[01:15:29] Crazy.
[01:15:29] 11-0.
[01:15:31] Best record in the league.
[01:15:33] Milwaukee's still struggling.
[01:15:35] Still struggling.
[01:15:36] Jalen Brown, shit-talking.
[01:15:39] Giannis.
[01:15:40] Did Giannis pull, like, a little fake handshake thing?
[01:15:44] I guess.
[01:15:45] And, Jalen just calls him a child.
[01:15:49] So, things not looking good in Milwaukee right now.
[01:15:51] No, 2-8.
[01:15:53] Wow.
[01:15:54] Last in the East.
[01:15:55] Mm-hmm.
[01:15:56] Wow.
[01:15:57] They need some help, because Chris Middleton's still, you know, hurt.
[01:16:03] Giannis and Dame need some help.
[01:16:06] They do.
[01:16:08] It's bad.
[01:16:09] The East, it's kind of a struggle bus in the East right now.
[01:16:12] Only two teams above .500.
[01:16:14] The Cavs and the Celtics.
[01:16:18] Yeah.
[01:16:19] The Celtics are 9-2.
[01:16:21] Pacers 5-5.
[01:16:22] Yeah, the three seed right now is the Pacers 5-5.
[01:16:26] That's crazy.
[01:16:26] Whereas you go down to the West, and you got 10 teams above .500.
[01:16:32] Yeah, exactly.
[01:16:33] I mean, my Mavs are sitting 5-5, and we're in 11th.
[01:16:36] Yeah.
[01:16:36] Tough loss today against the Nuggets, too.
[01:16:40] Dude, we lost the whole weekend.
[01:16:41] Couldn't beat Phoenix on Friday.
[01:16:45] Of course, Katie couldn't get it.
[01:16:47] He was healthy until the game, you know.
[01:16:50] But, yeah, Michael Porter hit the game winner today against us.
[01:16:54] So, you know.
[01:16:56] Man, it's been a tough go, but it's November.
[01:16:59] So, what?
[01:17:00] Yeah, it's early yet.
[01:17:01] But, just some interesting early season trends, you know, to pay attention to.
[01:17:07] Golden State still winning the great start to their year.
[01:17:10] I don't think anybody really saw that coming either.
[01:17:12] But Phoenix, OKC, Golden State, all 8-2 atop the West right now.
[01:17:16] Denver right behind them at 7-3.
[01:17:20] Well, yeah, early season, you know.
[01:17:22] Speaking of basketball, of course, Alabama Hoops started this week.
[01:17:29] Yeah.
[01:17:29] And looking good so far.
[01:17:32] 2-0.
[01:17:33] Tell you what, Izzy.
[01:17:34] You know, it was a little tough on him.
[01:17:37] But, you know, that's supposedly going to be a good Arkansas State team.
[01:17:40] And, I mean, considering he was Alabama forever, I mean, he knows when Nate's going to run.
[01:17:49] And, you know, they still put up 88 despite bad three-point shooting.
[01:17:54] I think that's a good sign.
[01:17:56] I like that.
[01:17:57] Yeah.
[01:17:58] No, yeah, exactly.
[01:17:59] That's, you know, been the problem of these Alabama teams under Nate Oates in the past is if they don't get.
[01:18:05] If the three-point shooting goes cold, the whole offense kind of goes cold.
[01:18:08] But, no, like you said, 88 points from a cold night.
[01:18:14] And a physical game, you've got to win those.
[01:18:15] You've got to win those physical games.
[01:18:18] I mean, Arkansas State is, I mean, they're projected to win their conference.
[01:18:23] So, I mean, very well could be a tournament team.
[01:18:26] So, yeah, I mean, a good win in that sense.
[01:18:30] And then did you see, talk about college, did the Auburn players get into a fight on the way to Houston?
[01:18:40] I did, yeah.
[01:18:41] I was going to mention that just absolutely insane on their flight to Houston.
[01:18:45] And they had to turn around and land the plane as two Auburn players got in a fight with each other on the plane, man.
[01:18:54] Which, crazy to think about two tall-ass basketball players getting a fight on the plane.
[01:18:59] On this little plane.
[01:19:00] But then they get to Houston and they beat Houston.
[01:19:05] Wow.
[01:19:07] Dropping bombs on them.
[01:19:08] But you've got to imagine there's some...
[01:19:11] Something's crazy.
[01:19:13] Yeah, there might be a little something behind the scenes there.
[01:19:16] Just something to pay attention to.
[01:19:18] Maybe they'll move past it.
[01:19:19] You know, sometimes teammates fight.
[01:19:20] You know, sometimes dudes just blow up.
[01:19:22] Get it out of the way.
[01:19:24] Get out of the system.
[01:19:25] Move on to the next thing.
[01:19:27] But we'll see.
[01:19:27] But, yeah, I mean, the fact that they still...
[01:19:30] I mean, going down to what...
[01:19:31] Houston, one of the tougher places to win.
[01:19:34] I mean, they are there.
[01:19:35] Absolutely, yeah.
[01:19:35] It's an electric place to play.
[01:19:38] So, yeah, man.
[01:19:39] That's a big win for Auburn in the early season there.
[01:19:43] So, yeah, definitely.
[01:19:46] Tiger fans have...
[01:19:47] It's fully basketball season for them.
[01:19:50] Fully basketball season.
[01:19:51] Absolutely.
[01:19:52] Yeah.
[01:19:53] Yeah.
[01:19:53] That's...
[01:19:53] And then also some more troubling off-the-court issues.
[01:19:58] Florida coach...
[01:20:00] Oh, yeah.
[01:20:02] What's his first name?
[01:20:03] Todd.
[01:20:03] Todd Golden.
[01:20:04] There's a Title IX investigation going on.
[01:20:07] It's really weird.
[01:20:08] And some, yeah, claims against him.
[01:20:10] Sexual harassment.
[01:20:13] Yeah.
[01:20:13] Some stalking.
[01:20:14] Some cyber...
[01:20:14] Yeah, it's weird.
[01:20:15] Unfortunate, though.
[01:20:16] We'll see how that investigation plays out.
[01:20:19] They have announced that he will keep coaching while he's being investigated.
[01:20:25] Yeah.
[01:20:26] I mean, it's one of those...
[01:20:28] It's a weird situation.
[01:20:29] I mean, I guess it's not the...
[01:20:33] But the fact...
[01:20:34] I don't know.
[01:20:35] Yeah.
[01:20:37] Just a weird thing.
[01:20:38] We'll see how it plays out.
[01:20:40] But I don't think it ends well for him.
[01:20:44] Yeah.
[01:20:44] Yeah.
[01:20:44] Those usually...
[01:20:45] It usually doesn't.
[01:20:47] No.
[01:20:48] Because, obviously...
[01:20:50] Some of the texts...
[01:20:52] Like, he...
[01:20:52] You know, shows up at places where people are at.
[01:20:56] Knows where they're at.
[01:20:57] And say, ooh.
[01:20:58] And they're college girls.
[01:20:59] And you're a married guy.
[01:21:00] Like, I don't know.
[01:21:01] It's a weird situation.
[01:21:02] Never ends well.
[01:21:05] Never ends well.
[01:21:06] But, yeah.
[01:21:07] Sorry.
[01:21:08] Just going back real quick.
[01:21:09] Looking ahead this week for our Tide on the court.
[01:21:12] They get Monday.
[01:21:12] They have McNeese State.
[01:21:14] Yeah.
[01:21:15] Another tune-up before.
[01:21:16] Big one.
[01:21:17] Purdue next.
[01:21:19] Is that Friday?
[01:21:21] Yeah.
[01:21:22] I think Friday night they play the Boilermakers.
[01:21:26] It's interesting with college basketball.
[01:21:30] You know, the USARB, we didn't get the big matchups until, you know, the Thanksgiving break.
[01:21:36] Or, you know, the feast week.
[01:21:38] We got some interesting games here this week.
[01:21:41] You know, Kansas, North Carolina.
[01:21:44] You know, Kansas held on there.
[01:21:47] Came back.
[01:21:48] They were down big.
[01:21:49] You know, came back and won that one.
[01:21:51] That was an interesting game Friday night.
[01:21:53] There's been some interesting upsets as well.
[01:21:58] But usually there are some.
[01:22:02] North Florida keeps beating our four teams.
[01:22:08] I've seen their name right two or three times on upset.
[01:22:11] So, that's interesting.
[01:22:13] Crazy this early in the year.
[01:22:15] Yeah.
[01:22:17] Yeah.
[01:22:18] But college hoops, man.
[01:22:20] It's back in full.
[01:22:21] Yeah.
[01:22:21] You mentioned, you know, the Auburn upset over Houston at home.
[01:22:27] Another kind of weird Duke coach.
[01:22:33] I'm forgetting everybody's first name.
[01:22:35] John.
[01:22:35] That's it.
[01:22:36] John Shire.
[01:22:36] He's kind of questioning.
[01:22:39] He's not happy.
[01:22:40] Cooper Flagg has some cramping issues.
[01:22:43] He says he wants answers.
[01:22:45] So, that's kind of weird.
[01:22:47] Something interesting to watch.
[01:22:48] Right.
[01:22:49] There.
[01:22:50] But, yeah.
[01:22:51] You mentioned a lot of good early season slate schedule this year for college hoops.
[01:22:58] Yeah.
[01:22:58] We saw that Friday.
[01:23:00] I mean, we'll see that.
[01:23:01] You know, we saw that Saturday.
[01:23:02] Even though it was big car football Saturday.
[01:23:05] So, I didn't really watch the game.
[01:23:07] But, you know, let's keep my eye on the square with that.
[01:23:10] The Auburn-Hewson game.
[01:23:11] Of course.
[01:23:12] Top 25 teams.
[01:23:13] Of course.
[01:23:14] We have the normal one this on Tuesday night.
[01:23:18] And, you know, with the four teams that are always involved with that.
[01:23:23] Michigan State.
[01:23:23] Duke.
[01:23:24] And Kentucky.
[01:23:26] Kansas.
[01:23:27] The coaches classic challenge.
[01:23:29] Whatever.
[01:23:29] Champions.
[01:23:30] Whatever they call it.
[01:23:31] Yeah.
[01:23:33] I don't know.
[01:23:34] At some point, you would hope that.
[01:23:36] I would like them to see switch some of the teams around.
[01:23:40] Yeah.
[01:23:40] It'd be nice to get a couple.
[01:23:41] Because they don't do the.
[01:23:43] Do they still do.
[01:23:43] I don't think they do the preseason NIT anymore, do they?
[01:23:47] I don't think so.
[01:23:48] That used to be a nice one in kind of the vein of like the Maui Invitational in those tournaments.
[01:23:53] Where they have the big.
[01:23:54] You know, you get your one or two blue blood big names every year.
[01:23:57] But you get some other teams a shot to.
[01:24:00] Yeah.
[01:24:01] Showcase them.
[01:24:03] Showcase them.
[01:24:04] I remember when we were in school.
[01:24:06] I think it was the NIT.
[01:24:07] I just know it was in Madison Square Garden.
[01:24:09] We played Oklahoma in a big matchup.
[01:24:12] Yeah.
[01:24:14] So, yeah.
[01:24:15] Elsewhere in the sports world, Major League Baseball free agency hasn't quite kicked off yet.
[01:24:23] But big news.
[01:24:24] But big news.
[01:24:24] A Japanese 23-year-old pitching sensation, Roki Sasaki, is coming to the States to play Major League Baseball.
[01:24:35] So that really.
[01:24:36] Big.
[01:24:37] A big.
[01:24:37] That's a big.
[01:24:39] That should ripple.
[01:24:40] You know, shockwaves through the free agency.
[01:24:43] For sure.
[01:24:44] Now.
[01:24:45] Because that's a huge arm on the market now that nobody thought would be on the market for this.
[01:24:50] And I said something.
[01:24:51] I saw something.
[01:24:52] I didn't really read into it.
[01:24:53] But they may not be needing that much money to come.
[01:24:57] Yeah.
[01:24:58] Yeah.
[01:24:58] He might take some lower money.
[01:25:01] More affordable contracts would open it up to more teams.
[01:25:04] So, but that's.
[01:25:06] That's interesting.
[01:25:07] Yeah.
[01:25:07] Definitely kind of a big.
[01:25:09] There.
[01:25:10] And then your Yankees announced they did pick up the option on Aaron Boone.
[01:25:14] He will be back again next season.
[01:25:17] So.
[01:25:18] Yeah.
[01:25:19] See how that.
[01:25:20] That'd be his eighth season in the pinstripes.
[01:25:25] I think, yeah.
[01:25:26] Obviously, I think the big thing for y'all is you got to resign Soto.
[01:25:28] Got to find a way to keep him.
[01:25:30] Got to.
[01:25:31] Because everybody.
[01:25:32] Everybody's on.
[01:25:33] Everybody is jumping in that race.
[01:25:36] My goodness.
[01:25:37] I'd say, yeah.
[01:25:37] There's some.
[01:25:38] I'm even seeing articles.
[01:25:39] It's like, you know, what are the Braves chances?
[01:25:41] I'm like, that's not going to happen.
[01:25:42] I'd love it.
[01:25:43] But imagine him and Acuna in the same lineup.
[01:25:47] That's insane.
[01:25:48] Oh, wow.
[01:25:49] Not going to happen.
[01:25:51] Now, maybe this pitching guy.
[01:25:52] Hey, let's go after him.
[01:25:55] Uh-huh.
[01:25:56] But yeah.
[01:25:56] Anything else?
[01:25:57] Sports world you want to touch on?
[01:25:58] Uh, you know, it'll be interesting to, you know, we have the playoff show on Tuesday
[01:26:05] night in between those basketball games.
[01:26:07] You know, I was, uh, I feel like the most disrespected team was, you know, we were saying
[01:26:14] it'd be interesting what, you know, what they do with Indiana and SMU.
[01:26:17] But man, the fact that they had the undefeated army team at like 25, I was like, yikes.
[01:26:25] Yikes.
[01:26:26] And that is, this is absolutely why I hate that they do the weekly rankings because it
[01:26:33] already puts them at a disadvantage and they have to, it makes it feel like they have to
[01:26:37] do extra work and it just shouldn't be that way.
[01:26:40] Like, yeah.
[01:26:41] They basically have, you feel like your army, the only way they get in is that they run
[01:26:45] the table and beat Notre Dame.
[01:26:48] Yeah.
[01:26:48] And it's ridiculous that they just don't do it more like basketball where they just like
[01:26:53] at the end of the season, you know, they have, Hey, these are the teams we pick for the field.
[01:26:57] I mean, these, these are our, yeah, these are our requirements, our criteria for what we
[01:27:03] look at.
[01:27:03] And ESPN could still do their show every Tuesday.
[01:27:06] They could hype it up.
[01:27:07] And I think that's what annoys me most about it.
[01:27:10] Yeah.
[01:27:11] I think that's what annoys me most is that this was obviously a thing ESPN behind the
[01:27:15] scenes was like, Hey, you guys need to do these rankings every week to give us our show.
[01:27:21] But yeah, I mean, I mean, it gives lots of, I mean, it gives people to talk about.
[01:27:25] Yeah.
[01:27:25] But I mean, it definitely does a disadvantage to those that aren't in the power.
[01:27:30] You know, if you're not the SEC or a big 10 team, I mean, you really got no love in the,
[01:27:35] in the, uh, in the thing.
[01:27:39] Um, no, yeah, the, the, we, you know, well, I guess we can real quick, uh, the initial rankings
[01:27:44] this week were Oregon, Ohio state, Georgia, Miami, Texas, Penn state, Tennessee, Indiana,
[01:27:48] BYU, Notre Dame was your top 10, uh, Alabama sitting there at 11th, Boise state, SMU, Texas
[01:27:55] A&M LSU finished out your top 15.
[01:27:59] And then just some other notes.
[01:28:01] You had Ole Miss at 16, Colorado at 20.
[01:28:04] We'll be interested to see how much this company, so much change this week.
[01:28:08] It's going to be a lot of change.
[01:28:10] Like you mentioned the army, you know, or a team like Washington state's having a great year.
[01:28:15] One loss to no, no love and no, uh, no excitement.
[01:28:23] And it's tough.
[01:28:24] I mean, they would have to have, but you mean, yeah, I think that, yeah, what we'll look for
[01:28:30] this week is how far do Georgia and Miami drop, uh, do Indiana and BYU who are eighth and ninth,
[01:28:37] do they get a little more love?
[01:28:39] Yeah.
[01:28:39] Cause to me, I think they got to be ahead of at least Penn state and Tennessee and maybe
[01:28:45] even Texas.
[01:28:45] I don't know.
[01:28:46] You know, they're unbeaten there.
[01:28:48] You have to be.
[01:28:49] Yeah.
[01:28:50] But you know the, oh, man, this guy.
[01:28:55] What a win.
[01:28:57] Oh man.
[01:28:58] Wow.
[01:28:58] Bates.
[01:28:59] Detroit gets the win despite all the turnovers and this, he's skinned the other goalposts
[01:29:04] this time.
[01:29:05] Jeez.
[01:29:07] Yeah.
[01:29:07] But I mean, that, that's a good window.
[01:29:09] I mean, despite all the turnovers, you go into Houston against a good Texas team and
[01:29:15] you find a way to win the game.
[01:29:17] Yeah.
[01:29:18] That's huge.
[01:29:19] Detroit team is serious.
[01:29:20] That's huge for Detroit.
[01:29:21] That keeps them first in the NFC too.
[01:29:24] Wow.
[01:29:25] Race for home field in that by.
[01:29:27] Wow.
[01:29:27] But yeah, just to finish up on that college, the college rankings note.
[01:29:31] Yeah.
[01:29:32] It's how I think this week, you know, how far did Georgia and Miami drop?
[01:29:35] How far does Alabama get a bump because of the win over LSU?
[01:29:39] Yeah.
[01:29:41] Yeah.
[01:29:42] And then you look at a team, you know, Boise survived.
[01:29:44] Do they get hurt for such a close game?
[01:29:47] Same with Indiana.
[01:29:48] You wonder like, are they hurt at all?
[01:29:50] Yeah, they're undefeated.
[01:29:51] But I think a lot of people thought they were going to house Michigan.
[01:29:55] And you know, the sad thing with them is they're just living off the name of Indiana.
[01:29:58] Any other Big Ten team?
[01:30:00] Like, I wrote an article.
[01:30:01] Man, any other Big Ten team, Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State, they're number two in
[01:30:10] the country.
[01:30:12] No doubt about it.
[01:30:14] It doesn't matter.
[01:30:16] Michigan's played cake schedules.
[01:30:18] Ohio State's played plenty of cake schedules.
[01:30:20] You can't just say, oh, they haven't played anybody.
[01:30:22] Man, it's so many years where the only time Michigan and Ohio State played anybody was
[01:30:28] when they played each other.
[01:30:29] And this is recently.
[01:30:31] And there's no way.
[01:30:32] You can't tell me that they were where Indiana is right now, that they're not number two
[01:30:36] in the country.
[01:30:37] If not, you know, obviously Oregon's undefeated as well.
[01:30:41] But no worse than two for those type of teams, even if they had played a bad schedule.
[01:30:47] Yeah.
[01:30:48] And I mean, you can just look right now this year.
[01:30:53] I mean, obviously they lost this week.
[01:30:54] But Miami, what would they really haven't played anybody?
[01:30:58] They played a couple of names.
[01:31:00] They played Florida State, but they're not.
[01:31:03] Nobody good.
[01:31:05] Yeah.
[01:31:06] Their schedule is actually pretty atrocious.
[01:31:09] I mean, you look at it before.
[01:31:11] Yeah.
[01:31:11] Yeah.
[01:31:12] But that's because it's Miami.
[01:31:14] Miami is a brand that's when they're on.
[01:31:17] But yeah, I mean, you look at a down Florida team.
[01:31:20] I mean, Virginia Tech's a name, but I mean, they're okay.
[01:31:24] But I mean, nothing big.
[01:31:26] You know what I mean?
[01:31:27] Cal, not a...
[01:31:28] Louisville is a name, but they're not great.
[01:31:32] Florida State's terrible this year that it's a name.
[01:31:34] Yeah.
[01:31:35] But I mean, now you're in the season with Wake and Syracuse.
[01:31:39] I mean, they should win those...
[01:31:41] You would think we'll win both those games, but who knows?
[01:31:45] But yeah, I mean, they probably shouldn't be four other than Miami.
[01:31:51] Yeah.
[01:31:54] So yeah.
[01:31:55] We'll see what you have.
[01:31:56] Interesting to see what happens this week with that.
[01:31:58] Okay.
[01:31:59] All right.
[01:32:01] What's been done up real good for you this week?
[01:32:05] Man, I'm going to have to go with that Alabama win.
[01:32:07] I mean, it's always good to beat LSU, especially on the road in that environment and all the
[01:32:14] heights that that place gets.
[01:32:15] But the fashion that we did, I mean, we pretty much made them quit.
[01:32:19] And you look at that crowd at the end of the game.
[01:32:22] It's nothing but crimson in the stands.
[01:32:25] Everybody else has left the building.
[01:32:26] And you hear the crowd going, you would think it's almost...
[01:32:30] If you were just listening to the audio, one looking at your TV, you would have thought
[01:32:34] maybe Alabama's home game, the way they were yelling at the end of the game.
[01:32:39] And I mean, didn't you hear Rammer Jummer loud as hell in the stadium?
[01:32:42] I mean, it doesn't get better than that.
[01:32:44] How about you?
[01:32:46] No, I agree.
[01:32:47] Yeah, I agree.
[01:32:48] I'll go with that.
[01:32:49] Especially, you know, game day in town.
[01:32:51] You know, Livvy Dunn, the guest picker, talking a little shit at Nick Saban.
[01:32:55] And it's always nice to throw it back in their faces.
[01:32:59] Oh, absolutely.
[01:33:00] So, yeah.
[01:33:01] And like you said, it was good to see Jayla Milrow look full strength again.
[01:33:04] It was good to see the staff commit to the run game and really just exploit the weakness
[01:33:12] of the LSU defense.
[01:33:13] I mean, that was what I really liked.
[01:33:16] I mean, you know, we knew what would be the LSU.
[01:33:21] They had two weeks to get it right, and they did it.
[01:33:26] You know, they had the, you know, obviously everybody knows what can beat a team, but
[01:33:32] they don't go with it.
[01:33:33] But the staff knew, hey, we have to do it.
[01:33:36] And also good, you know, seeing Kayla and the board win a big road game.
[01:33:40] I mean, of course, we lost to Tennessee.
[01:33:42] We lost to Vandy.
[01:33:44] I mean, this was their third big road game.
[01:33:47] And, you know, handle business, you know, a effort this week.
[01:33:51] Now it's just a matter of keeping it cool.
[01:33:53] Now I believe in the newspaper and the clippings.
[01:33:55] And, you know, of course, this week doesn't, you know, this is just a filler game.
[01:33:59] But I just ended the season strong.
[01:34:03] Yeah, it's, yeah.
[01:34:06] Hey, college football, man, there's nothing like it.
[01:34:09] No.
[01:34:11] It's been epic, and we're still going to see a lot of epic stuff.
[01:34:14] I mean, we still have three weeks, three to four weeks of the regular season there.
[01:34:19] I mean, it's just going to be an epic end of November.
[01:34:23] Yeah.
[01:34:24] It's going to be crazy.
[01:34:26] Thanks again, folks, for listening.

[01:34:46] Blue Sky Threads.
[01:34:48] I know there's a mass migration to Blue Sky this week.
[01:34:50] I saw also maybe that'll pick up some more steam.
[01:34:53] I saw Blue Sky and Threads have started getting a lot of people.
[01:34:57] A lot more users, yeah.
[01:34:59] Of course, we got our Instagram as well.

[01:35:11] We have our weekly take and bets column, which, like I said, it was an ugly week for all four of us.
[01:35:16] I think Mallory was the only one that went two and two, and that was the best of the week.
[01:35:20] That was a hell of a job.
[01:35:21] Hell of a job.
[01:35:22] Yeah, right?
[01:35:23] That's about all you can ask now.
[01:35:25] The chances of me and you getting back to .500 this year slowly slipping away.
[01:35:31] Slowly going away quickly.
[01:35:33] I need.
[01:35:35] We're going to have to do that thing where we pick every conference championship game again.
[01:35:39] I'm going to have to go 11-0 or whatever.
[01:35:41] Yeah, absolutely.
[01:35:43] We're in the weeds.
[01:35:45] It's rough.
[01:35:46] In the back.
[01:35:47] It's rough, folks.
[01:35:48] As always, y'all, thank you again.
[01:35:50] Keep it done up real good yourselves out there.
[01:35:54] Greg, buddy, roll tide.
[01:35:55] Roll tide.
[01:35:57] All right.
