Dylan LeBlanc grew up watching his dad write and record songs in FAME Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He started writing and recording his own songs there at FAME while he was still a teenager. In this podcast, you’ll hear how some of those demos turned into his first album, the early influence that My Morning Jacket had on him, life on the road with The Pollies, and making his newest album “Renegade” in Nashville with Dave Cobb for ATO Records.

I love Dylan’s music, and I really love that song you played a clip of, THE MEANING OF THE WORD. I cant find it anywhere on the internet, so I guess I will just have to listen to the clip over and over! I enjoyed this laid-back interview and learning little bits of info I didnt already know. The Pollie are top-notch too, btw!

If you allow it, here is a video of Dylan performing his new album’s title song, RENEGADE, in his hometown of Shreveport last summer. There are more Dylan videos on my channel, which can be found by doing a YouTube search of “Dylan LeBlanc Shreveport.” You can search for “The Pollies Shreveport” to find some of their stuff too!
