It’s a great week on Taking It Down — that is always the case when special co-host Natalie Morrow joins the podcast! This week, we discuss things that are on the pop culture horizon in television and film, particularly things we may cover in the coming weeks (1:49). There’s a bit of a divergence as Blaine rants about pop culture websites (3:19) before coming back around to the list of possibly good shows and movies (5:11). From there, Adam and Natalie assess the movie Spencer, which stars Kristen Stewart and documents a brief time with the late Princess Diana (11:37). Before the break, we all give our thoughts on the newly released Paramount+ season of The Challenge: All Stars: do we need it now (21:37)? We all get back into the Marvel Cinematic — and television — Universe by discussing Marvel’s What If…? (39:22). Plus, we all finally get around to watching the Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as it made its Disney+ debut over the weekend (43:27). After disregarding it at first, did we like it at all?
