[00:05:15] Although it takes us 20 minutes to figure out a spaceship.

[00:05:17] Cause he thinks it's a Jedi temple and he has to involve other children on accident.

[00:06:26] And one of them says, look, I told you, look at this thing I found.

[00:06:29] And then two other kids show up and they're like, you're not supposed to be here.

[00:07:36] There have been so many, it's like pirates is, is this whole other genre, sub genre of characters in the Star Wars world where we've got Jedi and we've got Sith and we've got stormtroopers and we've got, we've got the, we've got bounty hunters and gangsters.

[00:07:49] And now we've got pirates and they've certainly embraced that in, in third season of Mandalorian with the pirate episode.

[00:07:57] In fact, I don't know the character's name, but the one guy who got away from the assault, the pirate assault on Navarro is in that first episode.

[00:08:06] He's in the boarding party on, on whatever that ship is.

[00:08:10] Good eye.

[00:08:11] I saw that on TikTok.

[00:09:50] Or some of the adults on the planet are part of that.

[00:09:53] But none of that intrigue is in this first episode.

[00:11:13] And it just, it feels more like the Star Wars world than the Acolyte did.

[00:11:18] And I'm only complaining about the first episode because I do think it gets better as each episode goes along.

[00:11:26] It feels to me like they made this show and they were like, every episode is about 30 minutes and it's going to be good.

[00:11:38] So make it 30 minutes longer.

[00:11:40] Make it twice as boring.

[00:11:41] Put them on the bike back in the woods again.

[00:11:43] For me, it is easier to watch it all at once because I watched the first two episodes the week they came out.

[00:11:49] Then I watched the third.

[00:11:50] Then I watched the fourth.

[00:11:51] And last night I watched them all top to bottom.

[00:11:53] And it did make a lot more sense.

[00:11:56] That's been my biggest complaint with all of these Star Wars shows is they build them like a movie cut up into pieces.

[00:12:02] And not all of them.

[00:12:04] They didn't do it with Andor.

[00:12:05] Andor is, you know, there are arcs.

[00:12:08] They tell a story within three episodes and they move on and they start a whole new set of, you know, character arcs.

[00:12:15] Andor was basically like three movies.

[00:12:17] Good movies.

[00:12:18] Yeah.

[00:12:21] So the kids are trapped on a ship.

[00:12:24] And then we had the good fortune of being able to immediately start the second episode, which was called.

[00:12:32] And the barrier we come to find out is.

[00:12:34] Which at that moment.

[00:12:36] We didn't know what the hell the barrier was.

[00:12:40] It's a part of the mystery that's keeping the planet hidden.

[00:12:45] So this one starts off with them.

[00:12:46] They're on the ship and they meet SM 33, which is their, the droid running that ship.

[00:12:54] The girl was like, well, I killed him and I'm your new pilot.

[00:13:02] I love that the pirate droid has a rat living in his eye socket.

[00:13:08] I kept thinking that like we were going to find out that the rat is him and the robot is just like what he drives around.

[00:13:18] But that's what I thought it was going to be.

[00:13:21] Like it can be the person that's only that mean.

[00:13:27] Uh, so then they go to what they think is just an outpost, but it's going to be like, it's like a den of villainy.

[00:13:47] And then they stop at one point.

[00:13:48] And they're like, we don't know what the hell we're doing.

[00:13:51] That's when they activate SM 33.

[00:13:53] And he's the one that says, I got a place.

[00:13:57] I got, I know where we can go to get some help.

[00:14:02] And it was funny when they get there and she's like, why did you bring us to a pirate stop?

[00:14:08] And he's like, cause we're pirates.

[00:14:14] And apparently that ship smells like a fart.

[00:14:23] Uh, so when they get there, that's when they start telling people that they're from Atten

[00:14:27] and everybody's like, what, what?

[00:14:29] And then they pull out a bunch of cash and to them it's lunch money, but to the rest of

[00:14:33] the world, it's riches.

[00:14:36] Um, so are, are they treating Atten as the lost city of gold?

[00:14:42] Yes.

[00:14:42] As in Eldorado, as in.

[00:14:45] Gold.

[00:14:46] Okay.

[00:15:19] But it was Dumbledore.

[00:15:20] But this time it's Dumbledore and he tells them that his name is, uh, I wrote it down.

[00:15:50] But he doesn't move stuff.

[00:16:08] So then third episode is called very interesting as an astrogation problem.

[00:16:44] But once they get back to the ship, the kids kind of assert control and they're like, you

[00:16:49] have to go back and get the droid.

[00:16:51] Cause there was that really cool action sequence where SM 33 does save them from death.

[00:16:57] Once they get to the pirate port and he's got those laser shields and he's giving the

[00:17:01] pirates a hard time.

[00:17:02] Um, but when, when Jude Law's character, when whatever his name is, I'm not going to say

[00:17:09] it.

[00:17:10] I'm just going to say Dumbledore.

[00:17:11] When Dumbledore goes to get the robot, he brings him back and they're, he, he's followed

[00:17:18] by all of the pissed off pirates and they go to leave and they're tethered to the fuel

[00:17:24] line.

[00:17:26] And they're just stuck and they're pulling and they're wrecking all these ships and it's,

[00:17:30] you know, boats crashing into each other in the docks and the harbors.

[00:17:33] And I'm like, ah, the fuel line, this is a contrivance.

[00:17:38] I'm like, yeah.

[00:17:38] Go back and watch the force awakens.

[00:17:40] It's the exact same thing that happens with Poe Dameron.

[00:17:43] When he's trying to steal the TIE fighter, the fuel line is caught on the X on the

[00:17:48] TIE fighter and they can't get out because it's stuck to the fuel line.

[00:17:52] Like even at the circle K, if you try to drive off, that thing's got to break away.

[00:17:56] It's got a thing that makes it pop off.

[00:17:58] There's no safety on a pirate port.

[00:17:59] Or apparently on a first order star destroyer.

[00:19:54] Because they got some thing off a star chart, which involved some sort of inference.
